how do you know if someone is joining 'temporarily' before it happens?

Yeah, if everyone's worried about randos raiding our server, then lock it down temporarily until they forget about us, and open it back up. idk if that's a thing though

There's probably a plugin that puts you in a timeout for X length before you're able to start posting or something
