If it involves the state at any point, it's no longer a free market
That venezuela is capitalistic, because the accumulation of wealth in the hands of the state.
now you're being pedandtic
you fucknut
no because of the ownership of the means of production by private individuals
not the state
fucking wrong
In Venezuela ?????
yes
Venezuela's government appropriated car factories in the name of the people that belonged to GM and their government is doing this to bakeries as well
how many times can you be wrong
you retard
venezuela has a smaller public sector than many european countries
got a source?
What?
They're putting bus drivers onto their oil platforms, ffs
dude...just stop
You can own them, but you can loose these rights. And so there is no universal right for private ownership.
or are you just pulling shit out of your ass
@versterven what are you even talking about?
@Chris McLean Baron Lord of Hell he's just making lies up
because he can't cite shit
do you want public sector employment figures or public sector as a percentage of gdp
What your saying is so wrong it blows my mind
for the former the latest figures i have are from 2012 and the latter 2013
please source this stuff
it's actually not wrong and if you had done the most basic of research into venezuela you would know this, but none of the sargonite types have
Fuck sargon
@versterven while Venezuela has a private sector, it has state players in all industries and they seem to be the biggest players, and they strangle the private sector competition because they can throw money into their inefficient companies
The only thing decent coming out of Cuba is their cigars, that's it.
I know people from @versterven. its socialist and they hate socialism because of it and how it ruins their lives
Anyway if you look at it as a spectrum Venezuela is much *much* more leaning towards socialism than to capitalism
Especially compared to other countries
```The Center for Economic and Policy Research is an economic policy think-tank, co-founded by economists Dean Baker and Mark Weisbrot, and is based in Washington, D.C. It has been described as left-leaning. Wikipedia
```
Knowing people from a socialist server does not translate into knowledge about socialism
nice left leaning source, faggot
That link I posted tells of the oil industry being gutted by Venezuelan govt
