It's a start, I guess...
@Bjorn - MD I've been to Stockholm and Uppsala. Very beautiful places
*sigh*
Someday, I'll make it that way...
Look closely
How have I not seen this gem before?
@Valaska WOW
Every
Single
Time
@Sam Anderson Notice how The Rebel disabled comments on that video 😏
rise and shine evrobeans
So it appears to me that given several studies that this NPC meme is a real phenomenon
Which has some serious implications because it essentially means that many of our people can not be saved
@Procella Eques Quite the opposite
It means many of them can be saved, we just have to make our views the mainstream view.
Won't be easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.
@Deleted User I suppose you could reprogram them
However that kind of means that they can be reprogrammed at another time and also considered a risk fo rit
for it
Yes.
That's why socio-cultural control is just as important as political control
if not more so.
I think we need to be able to distinguish NPC members from real members for very real security reasons though
perhaps we need a cognitive exam of sorts?
We'll take this in another server I think
If they're here, they have broken through a huge amount of social conditioning.
I am so behind the times. What is "NPC"?
Most people do not really form their own beliefs. They adopt them like they would pick a football team. Which shows how powerful deontological arguments are.
@Singleton Mosby WV its a video game term. A non-player character. Kind of like an extra in a movie. They play a role, but they have no real agency of their own. Just acting out a supporting script.
Like a cashier almost. Just doing its bit and not affecting anything.
Beliefs and attitudes are greatly influence by what - and whom - one is expose to growing up.
That's "exposed" nor "expose".
@Singleton Mosby WV Remember the image you shared of the gray character with the flat expression? That's the internet's visual representation of an NPC.
I copy.
a good article that a friend of our movement wrote on the subject.
