my thought process goes like this: Britain could only do two things to Germany 1. Invade 2. Bomb the shit out Germany. and btw, they did both
so perhaps focus on preventing allied air raids, and defend against potential D-day, but without wasting resources by trying to destroy British industry. focus that effort into the USSR, and perhaps focus that invasion on the oil fields (ya know, like it should have to begin with)
