such production is not supported by an already established industry, though
we should probably do something though, I don't like plastic just hanging around everywhere
Go tell India and China that.
And just, the overwhelming majority of non-western countries.
did you see that river in Guatemala?
it was just trash
it might have been from a flood though, idk
SHITHOLE
I think there is some kind of worm that can process plastic
I'm sure there's also research being done into genetically engineering microbes and similar organisms to break down plastic
It get loose and eat your car
but that's going to take a while, even without considering how and where to deploy such organisms, or how they might otherwise impact on the environment
And eat your car
"hey boss, yeah i'm gonna be late for work..., yeah the worms ate my car again"

Time to spread some freedom on Titan!
harvesting extraterrestrial objects for resources has long been an ambition of humanity, exemplified by the many instances in fiction where it is represented

We The Expanse soon
Talking about science fiction, anyone excited about the season finale of The Expanse?
YES
Also Syfy finale.
And also no, because it means we have to suffer through months of nothing
We Amazon now.
I guess it's a good excuse to re-watch Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis.
SG-1 got so bad near the end, I almost didn't finish watching it. Didn't feel motivated to look for any of the others.
SG-1 ends on the last episode of season 8.
I only watched it for Richard Dean Anderson.
The rumours of seasons 9 and 10 existing are just that, rumours.
I never could get into Stargate. Just felt too cheesy
As soon as spaceship appeared in sg1 I stopped watching
I always found it hilarious that the "nerd" is more buffed than the "warrior" character.
i watched a few episodes a while back, wasnt that interested
