Hitler pereversed facism to his aims. Even mussolini the *father* of facism as it were discounted hitlers version

2018-07-14 23:59:06 UTC

Except actual facism has been reached by the likes of spain, penochet, mussolini, japan

2018-07-14 23:59:24 UTC

Then i was thinking, hey I've read a good chunk of Marxist philosophy. But I've never really given a look at the fascists.

2018-07-15 00:00:12 UTC

Naw they really dont have a set pre facism book. Mussilini took from many aspects of society in developing facism. All you can find is post interpretations

2018-07-15 00:00:30 UTC

damn. That's disappointing.

Its similar to capitalism tbf. Communism is the only one that has that, and its probably due to the fact its more a thiught experiment than possibikity

2018-07-15 00:01:42 UTC

@Deleted User It's time to clean the floors.

2018-07-15 00:02:15 UTC

Surely there has to be a difference between fascism and totalitarianism. Totalitarianism when benevolent can be an incredibly useful in the case of pinochet and dreadful under the likes of cannibalistic ungo bongos.

2018-07-15 00:02:37 UTC

Singapore as well

2018-07-15 00:02:41 UTC

Fascism on the other hand it seems to me has never really gone to well.

2018-07-15 00:02:59 UTC
2018-07-15 00:03:30 UTC

Benevolent dictatorship is about as efficient as it comes.

2018-07-15 00:03:31 UTC

Facism and totalitarianism is hand in hand. Facism itself is like a middle step between democratic capitalism and co?munism and that was the point of it

2018-07-15 00:03:56 UTC

I think the difference between fascism and communism can be described as who power is divested in

2018-07-15 00:04:12 UTC

Facism was basically socialism light

2018-07-15 00:05:01 UTC

**Tandred#8768** was cleansed from the server.

2018-07-15 00:05:03 UTC

But if you ignore hitler most facist nations were really not bad, nor as horrible an outcome as socialism itself

2018-07-15 00:05:10 UTC

Communism hits a wall, because it purports to have shared ownership of everything, while fascism has the government owning everything

2018-07-15 00:05:30 UTC

Anyone know of any pre ww1 fascist authors at least? Something not tainted with the tragedies of the world wars to have a gander at the subject?

2018-07-15 00:05:39 UTC

No

2018-07-15 00:05:50 UTC

Facism wasnt really a thing pree ww1

2018-07-15 00:05:56 UTC

You probably won't find it labeled as 'fascism'

2018-07-15 00:05:58 UTC

preww1 it was monarchies

2018-07-15 00:06:09 UTC

That filled the role of facism

2018-07-15 00:06:28 UTC

Simmilar but different

2018-07-15 00:07:05 UTC

Hmm. Will probably have a bit of a research sesh tomorrow and come back if anyone's interested.

2018-07-15 00:07:41 UTC

Like i said. If you research, focus on spain, japan, italy, and singapore

2018-07-15 00:07:51 UTC

ah

2018-07-15 00:07:54 UTC

the worst countries

2018-07-15 00:07:54 UTC

Aye, will do

2018-07-15 00:08:04 UTC

far to many default to hitler, but he was only quasi facist

2018-07-15 00:09:07 UTC

You could argue that 18th century Canada was 'fascist' in a way

2018-07-15 00:09:34 UTC

@LumpyAcidFish whenever someone brings up colonialism I always say, hey thank your lucky stars the brits did most of the leg work and not the Spanish.

2018-07-15 00:10:41 UTC

idk your comparing apples to apples

2018-07-15 00:10:57 UTC

Howdya mean

2018-07-15 00:11:16 UTC

it was monarchist

2018-07-15 00:11:29 UTC

what was the difference between british and spanish colonization

2018-07-15 00:11:40 UTC

Spain had tons of colonization

2018-07-15 00:11:43 UTC
