Dude, facts on this topic are determined by actions and all this is in future tense. A politician's words do not always allign with their legislation.

There is every oppitunity for a better trade deal through hard brexit, but if chequers goes through (which it was denied) we'd have a bad time

There's no "Brexit will do X, and remaining will do Y", there's only "What will I do with my new trading opportunities?"
