Though a bit rare, there are people with abnormal chromosomes.

Sometimes, babies are born intersex.

Sometimes, babies are born with XY chromosomes, but a female phenotype.

Hermaphroditism is caused by chromosomal abnormalities such as XYY so it actually is related to chromosomes

There are conditions that cause abmormailities in all of them. It would take a retard to state that all abnormalities are a different sex.
