It started with the upper-class Whites seeing their fawning servants as victims of lower-class Whites. I saw that in the South when I was much, much younger. The rot spread from the top down because upper-class Whites had such social credibility. It was the old money in Atlanta who declared the city "too busy to hate." It was a very dishonest way to surrender. Atlanta is now little different any capitol city in Africa.
