Whether they were justified or not
Which are turned down because often officers are above the law
I mean. You might also need medical aid
Especially Federal ones
You just flat out can't sue federal officers
Civil cases? Aren't turned down lol
@Broo TulsiGang 2024 π¬π§ πΊπΈ I agree however
You can
People do
Oh wait Civil I'm blind
With the new recrument drive that ain't gonna happen
Your gonna get some cops dressed in rainbows
these days you only need to call 999 when you feel "othered" or experience a microaggression so the size / gender of the police doesn't matter
I have a little bit of autism on the inside
That are 4 ft tall
Civil, you don't even have to be guilty to have to pay damages
And lose your job
Civil Cases are hard tho
Because the Government will often back the officer
Imagine being in a civil case for years because some idiot required you to shoot them
How much money that is gonna cost
Victims usually get pro-bono attorneys from ACLU etc
Depends on the facts
ACLU is kind of an asshole organization nowadays
Officer here in Baton Rouge that shot the guy who went for his gun had to pay out of the ass for attorneys
So I guess they might go along with it
Took like 2 years
Fucked up
Guy went for a gun on his person
Cop got fired which means he can no longer work in law enforcement anywhere else, because of politics.
IA found it justified
They kept him on for a few months then got rid of him
All because he cursed at the guy
And threatened to put a bullet in his head if he kept going for the gun
Which I say is fair
But nope, can't use threatening language when you think you might get SHOT.
I guarantee you, all these anti cop people, don't call their local gang members when someone steals their shit or tries to kill them.
