I liked the idea that someone throw around last time when the debate was done that the kid should have solution between swedish or russian (or perhaps have some 3rd option, german?) would achieve same goals as mandatory swedish has but would motify the kid actually learn language of their choosing and not just force them through the classes without actually learning the language (minimerkillä ruotsin tunnit olivat perseestä ja ammattiruotsin kurssia odotellessa)

so a bit of freedom to choose for the kid but still mandatory to learn 3rd language

Some shit I'd love to implement in a country:
· Either ban or tax to Hell and back all alcohol and tobacco-like products
· Unnecessary surgeries banned
· Healthcare only covers genuine injuries and diseases (if you're at fault, you pay for your own care)
· High control of hereditary diseases with a possibility of castration
· STRONG border control
· Foreign aid only given when the country has a superavit
· Uniform nationwide school system, homeschooling is a legal option with regular exams
· To get a 10-year voting card you must pass a test about history, geography and politics
· All violent criminals are banned from voting
· All politicians of any level must not have had any legal problems that require jailtime

ABOUT THE "VOTING CARD"
· Every 6 months half of the adult population that does not have a voting card has a shot at passing the test. Every adult would have an annual shot at passing the test, which is a fairly generous thing if you ask me.

Just look at the difference of weed consumption BEFORE/AFTER legalization, the jump is HUGE. We can totally make that jump in reverse for alcohol.

I'm not saying it'd be perfect, I'm saying it'd greatly reduce alcohol consumption.
