This is not your final version. Accept that you need to get right with God, get right with God and so you will overcome your current fallen state, becoming a wonderful person.

How to get right with God? Forgive everyone who wronged you. Write down your sins or at least search your heart for the wrongs you did to others, and ask Jesus to forgive your sins. Then ask Jesus to adopt you, to come into your heart and become your Lord (leader) and Savior and to send you the Holy Spirit. You need to be 100% sincere. Otherwise you're just saying poems.

Then start reading the New Testament and follow Jesus Christ's teachings. And all will be well. There will be beautiful changes in your life, you will overcome many things and have many battles (spiritual) with your old nature and temptation. You will win and your life will get better. Your protection is: humility and obedience to God.

love isnt seeking anything... it's a state of being.

marriage is also for family structure... logos... values... preservation...

You can't explain anything to people in a fallen state. They have to see it for themselves. Their emotions won't allow them to think logically.

Love is of the mind, aka: you use your mind to see people from a perspective that enables love for them. For example you look at humans through the perspective of the people who love them, meditating about it. You ignore their flaws and focus on their qualities, seeking using your mind, their inner beauty.

You can also meditate on the love that individual has for others, which will make it easier for you to love that person.

Love is of the heart, aka: You have an open heart, and/or that individual is in your heart.

Love is of the spirit: His/her presence is with you.

This is just my 2 cents and a very shallow description. The more you think about it, the more you will understand.

Think about it. What do lovers usually say? Something along these lines: you're in my heart, I can't stop thinking of you, I wish you were near me, I am with you, etc.

And what people that are in lust say? (with other words): You are so HOT, I want you to be mine, etc (focus on the lower part of the body, which is a "love" that is dead because it has no substance).
