I mean I doubt that people are just stealing one sweatshirt and walking out
If you're going to go through the risk, you take a few things at a time
but I wouldn't be surprised if there are regular articles of clothing that are $260 each
@Nemets here is a something on the lower to middle range of where women's clothing can go when you get above the kohl's level https://www.anthropologie.com/dresses
(my family and I are happy with the kohl's level stuff but I've met plenty of people who are not)
definitely
I never understood why they named a clothing store after the study of human societies and their development
You should really check out local thrift stores.
such a weird thing to do
One near me gives mens' clothes away free, charges 20 cents for women's.
funny talking here things come to mind I haven't thought of in a while. ten years ago half my clothes came from urban outfitters 😂
@Nemets Ya dude I always thought people like this are crazy. I remember when I was in high school I read the statistics on how much students spend on average on prom and it was insane.
So spend some money on your shoes and pants. Thrift store your shirts and even Jackets.
I think in California its only shoplifting if the total number of thefts amount to less than $950, are performed without force or the threat of it, and during normal business hours.
@ThisIsChris The clothes I wear aren't particularly cheap I think, it's just that I don't have a lot of everything
@Jacob that's normal I think, you only need a few changes of clothes when you where underclothing
@Jacob Cigars are great. It was a great intermediate tool from smoking multiple times daily to rewarding myself after a hard week
Even Patrick will smoke the odd cigar on special occasions
Absolutely. It gets you used to taking in nicotine more gradually. After a while, you don't even particularly care about the nicotine and it's just about the flavor.
I don’t defend cigar snobs, but calling all men who smoke them snobs is unfair to the gentlemen gamers of IE who may or may not smoke a nice stoagie
I remember at the NW Forum a few of us were smoking pipes and cigars and Patrick came over to us. I felt like I should offer him something but at the same time I didn't want to give our leader lung cancer. The result was kind of an awkward "you can have some if you want but I'd rather you not get lung cancer".
@Nemets that page you just posted is interesting
@Nemets Presuming the under 18 category has gotten more non-white between 2008 and now, wouldn't this be showing that with more non-whites there was less crime?
@DairyMaxx Ya, I try not to show off with them. Like, I'm not gonna hide in shame, but I try not to flaunt it either.
To be honest, you *should* to some degree care what people think of you.
It's really dumb how libs cite that as evidence that immigration is good
"haha, you're worried about immigrant crime? well crime is actually FALLING"
would have to look at the rate of decrease then
There's a bunch of articles by doctors online about how cigars are just as bad as cigarettes, but I think this is assuming you're going to sit there and chain smoke them like they're cigarettes
This is entirely anecdotal and shouldn't be taken as evidence of anything, but I've had periods in my life where I smoked cigarettes, and the cravings could get brutal. Never had such an experience with cigars.
@Jacob yeah well you don't inhale cigars
@Nemets on the right, hispanic vs non-hispanic?
The argument is that you do subconsciously inhale them a bit, and that they have as much tobacco as a pack of cigarettes. The implication being that it's like inhaling a pack of cigarettes in one sitting. That's a dumb argument, though, because the amount you inhale by doing it subconsciously is only a fraction.
I don't know who created *Pokemon go*, but I'd try to figure out how we get yall to *Pokemon Go the heck to Sleep*
I'm on Pacific time
Yeah mega snow storm here
Definitely not going in to work on time.
Eastern Washingon weather changes crazy fast
It was Summer weather, like, a month ago
And we got our first snow this week
