Man, we suck at typing
XD
I got distracted
that's partially why
im talkin in gen 1
Okay how should I end this
I'm thinking of having a small skirmish between the two main characters
First battle they see each other
So from the first main point of view
I was going to have the start of the small skirmish
But than back up to when my other character is before the battle
plot pitch from an idea I had years ago:
An elite group of circus clowns that go around in a giant tent combating demons with the power of laughter
They're comprised of special people gifted with the ability to see demonic entities and the only way to make them go away is by making people laugh. Circuses were formed to make the demons stop picking on people and making them miserable.
However, now that it's the modern day, everyone is scared of clowns. While YouTube and social media certainly gives people laughs, the clowns find themselves in a tough spot as they try and adjust their craft for modern crowds who reject their antics and write them off as creepy
they travel around in a magical train that can go places without tracks and the entire tent folds up in one night
I've heard worse.
it's weird and it makes zero sense but I originally thought it might look good in an anime style
I have a framework from a few years ago that would make a good book, but a great TV series.
Execution is all that matters when it comes to an idea.
Great execution can make any bizarre idea look incredible and bad execution can make any incredible idea look dumb.
oh?
Nighthunter Universe:
Monsters are real. Every creeping, flapping, malformed creature that has ever haunted humanity throughout all time exists. The government knows, and has a special βMen In Blackβ type division that hunts them down and destroys them.
Our Hero comes from a long line of famous monster hunters. He has taken up the mantle as the last of his line, and is widely known for his vicious, ruthless destruction of monsters. He works alone, and when he *does* have a partner, they donβt last long.
Except itβs all a lie. In reality, Hero has found that the majority of βmonstersβ are mostly harmless, wanting to live in peace and just be left alone. His family has been guardians of sheltered small towns and village of these creatures for centuries, acting as a shield from outsiders who would wipe them out. Sure, the hunters kill monsters, but only those who are so vile and twisted that the regular monsters fear them. The world is kept safe, good monsters live quiet lives, and everyone is happy.
Execution would be Greatest Showman mixed with the spectacle of Moulin Rouge
animated to save on costs
Then Our Hero is assigned a partner he canβt shake. Unlike the bungling idiots he fends off, sheβs the real thing, a True Believer that thinks the only good monster is a *dead* one.
Somehow he has to keep her from killing off innocent monsters, protect his secret town and get harmless ones to safety there, and possibly, just possibly, convince her that not all monsters are really the loathsome creatures everyone thinks they are.
Somehow.
