Nobody can stop you from making your own choices but everyone can see the reason why you shouldnt.
"Better are the wounds of a friend than the kisses of an enemy."
I have slight trust issues, to me a friend is an enemy that hasn't killed you yet
Friends can hurt you far worse than any enemy
Intentionally or unintentionally
But i got a friend it jesus
I like the verse that says basically the same thing. Better to eat vegetables with someone you love then steak with someone you hate đ
âThere is no such thing as an unattractive temptation.â -Fr John Hardon (a celibate priest)
Look what I really dislike about you is that you demonize being gay. Itâs normals, including the sex part. Yes itâs a sin but one that can be forgiven. Is Jesus can forgive a thief he can do the same to someone who is a homosexual
There is no forgiveness without contrition.
Why should I feel bad about who I am, why should I feel bad for a choice that made my life better
You have to join God's assessment of it as sin and have contrition about it, willing to not do it anymore. That is called repentance. It appears that you think otherwise though.
I thought it wasnât a choice? You said it wasnât a choice
Itâs complicated
Everyone has sin. We all have temptations
It's only complicated when you are still trying to hold on to it on one side while agreeing with God on the other. You have to pick a side. Problem is, if you don't go God's way, it's the wrong way.
I can do both, I can be a gay Christian. As long as I love Jesus, follow in his example, follow the Ten Commandments, and go to church would that make me a Christian
Going to church makes you as much a Christian as going to a garage makes you a car
If God has allowed someone a temptation, He will also give that person the grace to overcome it. Itâs why God allows suffering too. For our betterment. We belong to him. You can suffer from same-sex attraction and be a Christian yes.
You can't on one side acknowledge it as a sin but yet on the other embrace it like you can still be it and be Christian. It's like saying you can be a Christian murderer, a Christian bank robber, etc.
First of all it is getting saved from the consequences of your sins by trusting that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for them, and repenting of them before God. That's preliminary before anything else.
So since you are not willing to repent of something that you do acknowledge as sin then that shows you are not at the first step yet
It doesnât make sense. Why would god make my temptation biological. Why would he make temptation that doesnât have any punishment in the mortal world and actually it improves the quality of life of someone. All major sins are immoral and to me homosexuality isnât immoral
Why would I acknowledge something that improved the world and cause no suffering
It doesnât make sense
Why me,
Why did he make me gay
Why do I deserve this
That's the thing, it is not biological. No one is born with the biological bent for homosexuality. Somehow you are the victim of misinformation.
I disagree
There is punishment in the physical world for homosexuality. There are many STDs as a result of it.
You may think it improves life but I beg to differ.
You may think it is not immoral, but people are not the ones that make up what is wrong or right. It is when a person violates God's law that it is a sin. I think people here have already well proven to you homosexuality is against God's law.
Satan can make sin appear so sweet at first, but it always goes sour
How has homosexuality improved the world? Maybe people that embraced it did things unconnected that were helpful, but I don't see any way that it has improved the world.
Look at the alcoholic: he may say, Iâm not hurting anyone and it makes my life better. But many people have died from it.
I think that somehow deep down you are here on this channel seeking help, but it doesn't appear that you are listening to what people are trying to help you about.
No Iâm not.your born gay. You truly donât understand homosexuality. Iâm going to get a study
Our Lord wants to free us from our sins, not leave us there. It is difficult.
No, no one is born homosexual. If they were, God would have made more than Adam and Eve. He would have made Adam and Steve.
