Ashley Bobbit death has not been even commented on by the DA office yet, and you are already making assumptions on felony murder
agree, and aware of this.....
now, back to REALITY
Officer Sidnick was killed outside the capitol with a fire extinguisher to the head.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
We're clearly talking about a mob beating a man to death.
is it on video?
And attempting to beat another officer to death.
And attempting to crush another officer to death.
yes, the person beating him with extinguisher will likely go down with at least Manslaughter, likely Murder 2
Not a released one yet. But I am sure with all the cameras and phones with cameras recording it probably was
... manslaughter... for literally murdering someone with a blunt instrument. Interesting take.
well, when you find that video, and ID that person, then.....
Oh, guarantee you they have.
@maw can I link to a Donut operator video released about this...
This is the capitol building we're talking about, surveillance everywhere.
Not low-tech surveillance neither.
He did not die until later, and was "fine" for several hours. I bet the cause of death would be an epidural hematoma
That image is so... smdh.
oh.... ok, sorry I was not aware of that image
That's just one they tried to murder.
Beat him over the back of the head with an American flag.
While he was unconscious.
No that one did survive, thankfully... But it had me wondering where his partner was and why lead wasn't flying...
You can see his partner's boots in the image.
I know, I am just saying that in situations like that protecting a downed officer from additional harm... Its a tough situation.
And there is no training or preparation for it either
You're seriously making it up on the fly
ok, so just watch half the vide
it is horrible btw.... hard to watch
Thats not the officer that died, but all those people are likely to be charged attempted murder (the ones beating, and at least conspiracy to attempted murder for all in vicinity
for Brian Sicknicks, they need the video, or they wont get anyone
You want to see another bad one? Go watch the officer nearly crushed to death as his ribs break and rupture his lungs.
As he screams.
Be forewarned, it's disturbing.
I highly doubt that the Capitol surveillance system didn't catch it. More than likely they want the vids from people because they don't want to reveal the level of sophistication they have in their cameras and facial recognition etc.
for the officer being dragged, as horrible as it is, likely it would be hard to charge attempted felony murder the person who is sanding far away in the corner....
and it looks like a couple people were actually trying to help, so they may plead out. Rest are conspiracy, quite reasonable.....
not sure what min/max sentences all those carry
I haven't seen it yet. Although something tells me that I am going to see it soon whether I want to or not
Dont forget @Maw, that what you charge you have to prove in court, which is why I brought in "beyond the reasonable doubt"
link? for the officer video?
but when you have a video like that, its pretty damming with a jury, so unless you can say "I went to front line and begged them to stop and begged them to leave the officer alone, and tried to fight them.....
they dont have to release this to the public, it can be presented and sealed in court
