so... now taking this to the each and single rioter... 1) how would you describe participant? and prove that they were in fact beyond a reasonable doubt 2) they will have a perfect defense of there were 20 other people that were superceding causes to the death

""The common purpose may not have been to kill and murder, but if it was unlawful, as, for instance, to break in and steal, and in the execution of this common purpose a homicide is committed by one, as a probable or natural consequence of the acts done in pursuance of the common design, then all present participating in the unlawful common design are as guilty as the slayer.""

SCOTUS ruling.

2021-01-12 09:42:11 UTC

Ashley Bobbit death has not been even commented on by the DA office yet, and you are already making assumptions on felony murder

2021-01-12 09:42:44 UTC

agree, and aware of this.....

now, back to REALITY

2021-01-12 09:43:08 UTC

Officer Sidnick was killed outside the capitol with a fire extinguisher to the head.

2021-01-12 09:43:13 UTC

I reject your reality and substitute my own.

2021-01-12 09:43:25 UTC

We're clearly talking about a mob beating a man to death.

2021-01-12 09:43:27 UTC

is it on video?

2021-01-12 09:43:40 UTC

And attempting to beat another officer to death.

2021-01-12 09:43:58 UTC

And attempting to crush another officer to death.

2021-01-12 09:44:19 UTC

yes, the person beating him with extinguisher will likely go down with at least Manslaughter, likely Murder 2

2021-01-12 09:44:22 UTC

Not a released one yet. But I am sure with all the cameras and phones with cameras recording it probably was

2021-01-12 09:44:46 UTC

... manslaughter... for literally murdering someone with a blunt instrument. Interesting take.

2021-01-12 09:44:47 UTC

well, when you find that video, and ID that person, then.....

2021-01-12 09:44:56 UTC

Oh, guarantee you they have.

2021-01-12 09:44:58 UTC

@maw can I link to a Donut operator video released about this...

2021-01-12 09:45:28 UTC

This is the capitol building we're talking about, surveillance everywhere.

2021-01-12 09:45:47 UTC

Not low-tech surveillance neither.

2021-01-12 09:45:55 UTC

He did not die until later, and was "fine" for several hours. I bet the cause of death would be an epidural hematoma

2021-01-12 09:46:22 UTC

That image is so... smdh.

2021-01-12 09:46:25 UTC

oh.... ok, sorry I was not aware of that image

2021-01-12 09:46:35 UTC

That's not even the officer that died.

2021-01-12 09:46:42 UTC

That's just one they tried to murder.

2021-01-12 09:47:17 UTC

Beat him over the back of the head with an American flag.

2021-01-12 09:47:28 UTC

While he was unconscious.

2021-01-12 09:47:33 UTC

No that one did survive, thankfully... But it had me wondering where his partner was and why lead wasn't flying...

2021-01-12 09:47:48 UTC

You can see his partner's boots in the image.

2021-01-12 09:49:09 UTC

I know, I am just saying that in situations like that protecting a downed officer from additional harm... Its a tough situation.

2021-01-12 09:49:35 UTC

And there is no training or preparation for it either

2021-01-12 09:49:51 UTC

You're seriously making it up on the fly

2021-01-12 09:50:40 UTC

ok, so just watch half the vide

it is horrible btw.... hard to watch

Thats not the officer that died, but all those people are likely to be charged attempted murder (the ones beating, and at least conspiracy to attempted murder for all in vicinity

2021-01-12 09:50:57 UTC

for Brian Sicknicks, they need the video, or they wont get anyone

2021-01-12 09:51:18 UTC

You want to see another bad one? Go watch the officer nearly crushed to death as his ribs break and rupture his lungs.

2021-01-12 09:51:43 UTC

As he screams.

2021-01-12 09:51:59 UTC

Be forewarned, it's disturbing.

2021-01-12 09:52:50 UTC

I highly doubt that the Capitol surveillance system didn't catch it. More than likely they want the vids from people because they don't want to reveal the level of sophistication they have in their cameras and facial recognition etc.

2021-01-12 09:53:10 UTC

for the officer being dragged, as horrible as it is, likely it would be hard to charge attempted felony murder the person who is sanding far away in the corner....
and it looks like a couple people were actually trying to help, so they may plead out. Rest are conspiracy, quite reasonable.....

not sure what min/max sentences all those carry
