Have you guys been seeing this "List of Questions for Biden Voters by Trump Voters" ?

Apparently a Trump Supporter or two got together to ask some questions of Biden Supporters now that Trump will be leaving office. I felt I owed them some answers:

Hahahaha 'dainty little snowflakes, just like you.'

I understand your sentiment, but pouring salt into an open wound is rarely the path to emotional healing. If we want to move forward, it might do us all well to remember that the vast majority of Trump supporters are intelligent people that simply chose to believe the mountain of information that they were exposed to in their media echo chamber.

Those on the left are not immune to confirmation bias. I do believe that Trump has been treated unfairly by the left. He did much to alienate the left, but they did paint much of what he did in the most negative light. I think that had Donald Trump not focused on saying that the Dems were trying to "rig the election", he might well have pulled out an EC win. The difference was razor thin in several of the battleground states. Had he focused more on getting the vote out and less on claiming fraud and refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer, the Biden campaign might not have gotten the turnout that they did.

There is a case to be made that he was his own worst enemy during the campaign. Dems would do well to remember that and forgo the victory lap as the right is having to deal with the reality of what has transpired. A little compassion might go a long way right now.

I disagree by using the same tactics that got us here we fix nothing.

2021-01-11 02:09:31 UTC

It's freedoms for all or we are through as a country.

2021-01-11 02:26:20 UTC

Thank you

2021-01-11 03:06:27 UTC

@Evonne are you an American of Taiwanese descent or a Taiwan national?

2021-01-11 03:35:49 UTC

Let's hear it

2021-01-11 03:35:56 UTC

Okay

2021-01-11 03:36:03 UTC
2021-01-11 05:38:34 UTC

R And R Law Group hasnā€™t gotten a strike yet on YouTube, right?

2021-01-11 05:40:34 UTC

LOL.... I really think we can calm down about that.... Trump incited Violence.... Robert hasn't so he's good

2021-01-11 05:42:24 UTC

I really do like your sentiment, but itā€™s simply not true that trump didnā€™t do enough to get the vote out. One only need look at trumps campaign schedule versus Bidenā€™s. It was approximately 5 Trump rallies scheduled for every Bidenā€™s 2. And then Biden routinely cancelled his, not to mention they were minuscule in size when he did have them. The Biden team clearly did not place any value in holding campaign rallies, which further lends credence to the thought they planned to fraudulently win the election.

2021-01-11 05:49:05 UTC

You missed my point... Not that Trump didn't do enough to get his vote out, but that he did more to get Biden's vote out with the talk of the Dems rigging the election. It literally became the rallying cry on the left. "Trump is going to claim that the election is stolen, Biden has to get so many votes that the outcome is not in question."

Every Trump rally where he claimed that the election would be rigged was played on MSM repeatedly with that same message to get the vote out. Trump's campaigning on a rigged election was the best thing that happened to Biden.

2021-01-11 05:52:37 UTC

Ok, I understand that youā€™re saying now, but I disagree in that I never had the perception that his claims of election fraud motivated blue voters at all. None of my circle at least voted Biden for that reason. Common reasons I heard were ā€œhe shouldā€™ve encouraged people to wear masksā€ and ā€œhe kept interrupting Biden in the first debateā€.

2021-01-11 06:15:54 UTC

It would be interesting to know if your friends might admit to that being a motivating factor for ensuring to vote. It was in my circle - not the primary reason, but a contributing factor to ensuring to vote.

2021-01-11 07:26:15 UTC

My friends were not happy to vote for Biden. For a ton of them he was a last choice candidate. They voted for Biden because it was a vote against Trump.

2021-01-11 07:35:06 UTC

That's how I and almost every person I know personally felt about it. I'm sure there are Biden believers out there but I don't know any.

2021-01-11 07:35:32 UTC

Change your news channel

2021-01-11 07:35:32 UTC

@hollywoo685, you just advanced to level 1!

2021-01-11 07:36:58 UTC

Thats the biggest travesty to this nation the information is so edited against freedom people don't even know what they are voting for

2021-01-11 07:42:48 UTC

I do not have any consistently accessed news source, except maybe this channel. That said, perhaps not everyone is as susceptible to media influence as you seem to think they should be.

2021-01-11 07:45:47 UTC

Its word of mouth from people that watch main stream media rather than researching. Maybe start with newsmax then try youtube Charlie kirk steven crowder maybe even a liberal like Tim pool. I don't have access either I just did my own research. I always check on a presidents accomplishments before an election

2021-01-11 07:48:07 UTC

I have always been a republican because I knew that democrats were the party of slavery so when they call Republicans white supremist it makes me second guess the information source i am getting

2021-01-11 07:49:18 UTC

I have seen all of them. That I am not operating as they direct is testament that one is not necessarily a product of the information they are fed. And I have been paying attention to Trump's accomplishments the entire term.

2021-01-11 07:50:02 UTC

It was precisely Trump's accomplishments that made Biden a no brainer for me.

2021-01-11 07:50:56 UTC

So 4 peace deals in the middle east of all places made you vote for biden

2021-01-11 07:51:44 UTC

Unfortunately, I didn't limit myself to that. I'm complicated.

2021-01-11 07:52:33 UTC

Ok so what did it? His Twitter when he calls a dumbass a dumbass?

2021-01-11 07:52:33 UTC

@hollywoo685, you just advanced to level 2!

2021-01-11 07:53:24 UTC

I realize that impresses a certain type of person but not me.

2021-01-11 07:54:08 UTC

Did you follow him on twitter or just believe what you were told?

2021-01-11 07:55:23 UTC

Truth doesn't care about your feelings. If you believe his twitter was appalling then you aren't a man. Period

2021-01-11 07:56:48 UTC

That's a lot to unpack. However, it isn't necessary. I wasn't asking permission to have opinions about Trump's policies.

2021-01-11 07:59:23 UTC

Why can't any biden voter get past that? What policy is unacceptable?

2021-01-11 08:00:19 UTC

He closed the wealth gap for God's sake

2021-01-11 08:05:10 UTC

A big pile of them, actually. The ones I dislike the most are repealing all of the EPA and SEC regulations, tax rewards for wealthy people with no obligation to reinvest domestically and science denial informing decisions about virology (and climatology, for that matter). Again, not asking permission.

And to your point, there is a price to pay for smash and grab economics.

2021-01-11 08:06:37 UTC

Although I'm not even sure what you mean by 'closing the wealth gap.' I just took it as a general economy claim.

2021-01-11 08:11:58 UTC

Do you know the benefits of repealing the EPA and SEC regulations?Do you know the tax rewards for the wealthy with bidens policies? You have everything completely backwards. Republican policies are about the republic, the people. The democrat policies are all about democracy, the government. Please find different places for information. From both sides. Then make a choice about who would be best for this country.

2021-01-11 08:14:34 UTC

I am always finding new sources and am satisfied with how I arrived at my decisions in this case. It is not my first rodeo.
