I do find it hypocritical though.
I agree with this. If the issue is with the system then take it out on the system. Not the people that the group claims to defend or protect.
So wait... you are opposed to defending small businesses from violent rioters? Or is this just a sliding scale where you put property damage of a walmart on the same level as an attack on the Capitol prohibiting those in it from doing their Constitutionally mandated job?
Small businesses were defended with far more violence and arrests though. You are pretending they did nothing đ
?
not one unarmed protestor was shot by police
only in the capitol building
The protestors in the capital were armed
yeah they had two arms
the woman who was shot was unarmed
all the people around the woman was unarmed
Unarmed and breaking into a room with citizens to let armed violent mob in
Sounds like a real winner
Their constitutionally mandated job is no more important than the local jeweler that sells jewelry to put food on their table. I am saying that if itâs an act of terrorism to riot on the Capitol building for political reasons, then itâs equally a terrorist stack to riot on the jewelers store for political reasons.
@Dedkraken any unarmed protestors get shot by police while doing their looting? nope
Government: *shoots rioter in cold blood *
Biden: âeveryone knows if this were BLM it would be much worseâ
They arrested hundreds and attacked many more
The only thing that has stopped BLM mass murder is not doing something like breaking into the capital
âCold bloodâ lol wtf
And you're playing into it. They know.
Ok George w Bush
lol
2020 was not that long ago. We all unfortunately remember the way terrorists were received.
I donât think you have ever received factual info about events to remember
Any act of violence or threat thereof in order to alter the policy of a Government is... by definition... an act of terrorism.
So again, you keep making statements in a manner that I disagree with the statement.
Violence for political reasons is terrorism.
But... the point that I was making and that you did not address was that a walmart super center is simply not as important to our democracy in both ideology and fact.
Congress does not meet and vote on matters such as certifying the presidential election in the fucking Pet Supplies area of Walmart.
Terrorism exists in all political persuasions. It is also not always unjustifiable. Were Iraqis who had their families blown up by American bombs justified in committing acts of terrorism? Were the founding fathers justified in committing acts of terrorism against the British government? There is more nuance to terrorism than people are comfortable with.
Yes it is important to keep people safe while performing their Democratic duties, but it is NOT more important than keeping pet supplies employees safe while earning a living.
MERKEL
Now that is very f***ing surprising đ
Doesn't fit the script, right?
Again... presuming my position again.
You can find several places in this chat where I have criticized Obama with is Drone Happy Stupidity as being the single best recruitment tool ISIS had....
But.... we will simply have to agree to disagree that the the Arts and Crafts Department at Walmart needs the same level of security as the White House of Capitol Building - and honestly I find it almost mind boggling that you would hold that position.
Merkel is defending free speech more than the american left
Merkel is German they have a great history with controlling Nazis in their country
Well... "more than" is a subjective term. But... the US is not the only country to value Free Speech. For some reason American seem to forget that the overwhelming majority of nations in the world have some level of Free Speech and many of those have protections broader than does the US.
there is no 'some level of free speech'
you either have it or you dont
if you are free to say what i like, you are not free
Free speech doesnât extend to attacking the nations capital and murdering people
I didnât say that the arts and crafts department needs the same security as the Capitol building. My point is that when both experience violent riots, one should not spark outrage while the other apathy. The whole point of government in the first place is to protect the rights and safety of the people that pay for it. Otherwise, why not do away with it?
