if you take out the ability to run a small business and for people to work independently from big companies, the right to own a private business, its certainly a start in getting socialism going.

The US is just a barrier to regional dominance in the SCS and Asia, and once that happens they'll expand into Europe via the Belt and Road Initiative. IP theft, spying, etc. in the US are only meant to undermine US efforts to undermine China.
