2020-01-28 17:23:26 UTC

😆

2020-01-28 17:25:21 UTC

lol

2020-01-28 17:27:32 UTC

@Queen Of Conspiracy
Joseph Smith is relevant becuz Joseph Smith invented the claims that some *Egyptian* writings *(which are dated later than Abraham's time, & were not identified as being written by Abraham mind u)* are the *Book of Abraham;* it's a hypothesis that was never accepted outside the Mormon church *(& a few small spheres of occult influencers),* & it's been historically-linguistically debunked

2020-01-28 17:28:27 UTC

I've researched into the etymological analysis of those writings myself

2020-01-28 17:29:03 UTC

*(I'm well adversed in history & language)*

2020-01-28 17:29:23 UTC

What? I just told u what he has to do with it

2020-01-28 17:29:37 UTC

He invented the notion

2020-01-28 17:29:49 UTC

*(about the identity if the book)*

2020-01-28 17:30:10 UTC

He's mis-identifying the writings

2020-01-28 17:30:34 UTC

Mischaracterizing the writings per his Mormon revisions

2020-01-28 17:30:40 UTC

Its documented

2020-01-28 17:30:53 UTC

The Mormons purchased those writings

2020-01-28 17:31:11 UTC

& popularized the *theory*

2020-01-28 17:31:26 UTC

How are u not following this?

2020-01-28 17:31:41 UTC

Joseph Smith misidentified the writings as biblical

2020-01-28 17:31:46 UTC

It's simple

2020-01-28 17:32:17 UTC

@Deleted User I just can't talk becuz I'm in Starbucks

2020-01-28 17:32:35 UTC

I don't wanna' discuss this aloud

2020-01-28 17:32:40 UTC

Oh ok

2020-01-28 17:33:59 UTC

Looking into the mic situation I think I might have moved you

2020-01-28 17:35:56 UTC

No, it's not irrelevant...
1) The writings don't match Abraham's time
2) The writings weren't confirmed as being a part of the biblical body of works
3) The Mormons created the notion that some *Egyptian* writings which were found were a biblical writings *(however that's untrue)*

2020-01-28 17:35:58 UTC

I need more coffee

2020-01-28 17:36:50 UTC

The Apocalypse of Abraham is a pseudepigraphic work (a text whose claimed authorship is uncertain) based on the Old Testament. Probably composed between about 70-150 AD from earlier writings and tradition possibly kept from the time of Abraham , it is of Jewish origin and is usually considered to be part of the Apocalyptic literature .

2020-01-28 17:37:33 UTC

Those works aren't officially recognized as being akin to the biblical narrative, but rather, revisionists have stitched the misconception to the Bible's reputation

2020-01-28 17:37:55 UTC

Like the Talmud

2020-01-28 17:38:01 UTC

Or Qur'an

2020-01-28 17:38:07 UTC

Or Nag Hamadi

2020-01-28 17:38:10 UTC

Etc...

2020-01-28 17:38:21 UTC

Book of Enoch is legit though

2020-01-28 17:39:15 UTC

BTW, councils invented the fallacious categorizations which confuses most people regarding official vs unauthenticated alleged biblical writings

2020-01-28 17:40:21 UTC

For 1, the becuz the Book of Enoch is verified biblically

2020-01-28 17:40:27 UTC

The others aren't

2020-01-28 17:40:45 UTC

Enoch & the Book Of, are referenced in the Bible

2020-01-28 17:40:47 UTC

👌

2020-01-28 17:41:21 UTC

2020-01-28 17:41:32 UTC

2020-01-28 17:41:38 UTC

2020-01-28 17:41:49 UTC
