Yeah they have bots, programmed to act in a way that discourages Trump supporters or Anons, and they have thousands of paid trolls as well. When Trump cleaned out and rebuilt the Military after entering office his first term he kicked out quite afew generals. One general had been let go sometime after ISIS was defeated early on, and part of the strategy they used was propaganda to discourage the opponent and its message. So he and Twitter came up with an idea, combining it with what they saw as "Trump's digital army" idea(They really don't understand the full scope of what the digital soldiers are, if any general does though, its Flynn).
