Be careful with water fasting. You NEED to get your nutrients.
right
You're also going to feel pretty weak during.
But i need someone who trains for strength to tell me how their strength holds up after
that's why im researching supplements
After what?
and i think water fasting should be done sparsely
Oh, I am water fasting.
More or less.
I'm on the opposite side where I'm trying to gain weight .it can rough at times but overall an enjoyable experience.
I don't take any sort of supplements or anything.I just cook good food and work out.
It's salt water and lemon tea.
With two meals a week.
@haku. any tips for hardgainers, I'm not looking to be like Arnold, just lean and muscular I'm 145 rn
@Uncle Toxic aight that was kinda funny ill repost
Calorie dense foods @Leif_Ericksson99
And shit you find you can eat alot of
@Leif_Ericksson99 yes. remember to get your brotein in 🍺
im assuming you're asking about resistance training?
Don't forget that you're not gaining to look good, you're gaining to be strong.
anything resistance training
Cardio will make you lose mass to become more efficient.
Whole Eggs are cheap
I find eggs are wildly unsatisfying.
oh and very important and should be common sense
You'll want red meat for creatine.
your brotein shake is not your main source of protein
it's a supplement and should be treated as such
Right
Look up carnivore body builders.
meat should be main source of brotein
Chicken and lean meat is good
You don’t want a whole lotta fat
nah
fat is OK
just don't mix it with carbs
well fat is better that's sugar that's for sure
@Leif_Ericksson99 if you're trying to be lean then you first have to figure out how many calories you should be eating then go from there .
If lean is you're goal then you Basically need to maintain a certain weight/bodyfat but in most cases you're probably too skinny and need to gain some weight while retaining low body fat.
You basically have to lift heavy and in more which isn't really complicated once you understand what you're eating
I'm looking to get up to 150-160 and stay at that weight, I'm not very tall so..
