I'm on the opposite side where I'm trying to gain weight .it can rough at times but overall an enjoyable experience.
I don't take any sort of supplements or anything.I just cook good food and work out.
It's salt water and lemon tea.
With two meals a week.

im assuming you're asking about resistance training?
I mostly do bodyweight exercises pull ups, push ups etc.
Don't forget that you're not gaining to look good, you're gaining to be strong.

Cardio will make you lose mass to become more efficient.

it's a supplement and should be treated as such
