@Jacob We still have a rotary-dial phone that came with the old house we're in. But it really doesn't work. It has a super-loud ring though.
We kept ours in the garage as an extra phone. Didn't use it a lot, but it worked fine. Really wasn't any worse than the newer home phones back then were. Just didn't have caller ID.

We don't even use the home phones anymore. We've converted to mobile exclusive. But we still have to have a phone number for internet access. We are way out in the country.
Man, I really hate interracial couples. I always see it as proof of mental illness. There are some exceptions. I know a guy who is married to a White Hispanic. Guess that's not interracial though. White/Northeast Asian is barely acceptable. I can at least understand it.
You guys remember how I was telling you about how I'm temporarily ignoring this girl for like 2 months and she keeps sending me memes? Well, now she wants to spend New Years with me and she's willing to make the 5 hour drive to my house. I'll be on her side of the state before New Years so we'll probably just carpool.

@Axel I have no disagreement with you. But interracial marriage is a manifestation of the Leftist pathology. All the interracial couples I've known were extremely up-front about how morally superior and totally transcendent they were. That's the wrong reason to get married. Like everything Leftist it turns reality on its head. It's a solipsistic gesture that is the ultimate in Leftist virtue signaling. There is a lot of mental pathology there. A lot of alienation and rage.

What I note is that most White women who go with Blacks is that they are pathetically ugly. I feel really bad for them. Of course there are exceptions. About 20 years ago when I was working at a newspaper in California, there was an unbelievably beautiful young White women who would announce to anyone who would listen that she would never date White men. And sure enough she hooked up with a Black man who beat her and terrorized her. I don't know whether this changed her mind or not.

@Axel Ha ha. I'd say pretty much always overweight. That's been my experience in Georgia. Not quite as much in California, but still the majority. This points to a character defect.
