Yup. I'm just ok with their being no true meaning and living minimally.
Not getting caught up in anything anymore
You sound like a nihilist
i mean i think it's nice to know that your beliefs are built open facts and logic, thus leading to you knowing that your actions can be reasoned to yourself as being optimal. else one would always think in the back of their brain "am i doing the right thing"
Not saying you are.
I mean the "right thing" is subjective
The journey only gets better as you go your own way, or I’m just weird lol
Nihilism is a incontinent truth and it only gets a bad rap because again, it doesnt fill that hole of purpose most have.
Why people end up drawn to any kind of authority figure. For structure and purpose.
Most dont know that they can give themselves purpose.
*inconvenient
Hence why the light in the cave is more true than most are willing to admit
^true i suppose, but i view nihilism as a way to plan the next step in a world that is, not that wants to be
But even nihilists can have a purpose even if just to exist mininally. What is important to me, relatively is being ok with it which I am.
@Mr.Black ye, but what if one could somehow know what specfic combination of chemicals result in optimal happiness, and thus can live their life to result in one receiving that desirable mix of chemical
chemicals*
I feel like nihilism only exists when you can’t accept reality for what it is
Life is a open world sandbox game man
Nothing more
because if were to know that humans are wired to optimise the happiness endured, then we can work backwards from there to then know what results in happiness being felt
I view nihilism like I view suicide - for the weak because they are unwilling to accept reality or are otherwise impotent.
In my mind
Accept your reality
Reality is what I make it.
I think, there for i am
You're right, I dont give gatekeeping authority to what reality is or isnt to anyone but me.
That includes accepting outside interference and other contributing factors.
@Master Golan I am done going to church and donating to charities for some time. I have given over $50k in total. I did a full examination of my finances and I was manipulated by family and "friends."
I make my own destiny 🤪
Due to my nature of being a servant.
No more.
I am reading Ayn Rand, even if it becomes a circle jerk, to reprogram myself to be more selfish.
I'm a mgtow libertarian nihilist.
Guess who?
Haha
@Deleted User I am examining libertarianism a lot.
I was raised liberal.
Cole Robinson is live
@Deleted User you can be selfish in some ways and selfless in others
Rather than giving cash give time, like cook or teach a skill imo maybe donate time helping others to develop a skill
