^true i suppose, but i view nihilism as a way to plan the next step in a world that is, not that wants to be
But even nihilists can have a purpose even if just to exist mininally. What is important to me, relatively is being ok with it which I am.
@Mr.Black ye, but what if one could somehow know what specfic combination of chemicals result in optimal happiness, and thus can live their life to result in one receiving that desirable mix of chemical
chemicals*
I feel like nihilism only exists when you can’t accept reality for what it is
Life is a open world sandbox game man
Nothing more
because if were to know that humans are wired to optimise the happiness endured, then we can work backwards from there to then know what results in happiness being felt
Their isn't, because we are all built differently, and if their was it would be miss used
I view nihilism like I view suicide - for the weak because they are unwilling to accept reality or are otherwise impotent.
In my mind
Accept your reality
Reality is what I make it.
I think, there for i am
You're right, I dont give gatekeeping authority to what reality is or isnt to anyone but me.
That includes accepting outside interference and other contributing factors.
@Master Golan I am done going to church and donating to charities for some time. I have given over $50k in total. I did a full examination of my finances and I was manipulated by family and "friends."
I make my own destiny 🤪
Due to my nature of being a servant.
No more.
I'm a mgtow libertarian nihilist.
Guess who?
Haha
@Deleted User I am examining libertarianism a lot.
I was raised liberal.
Cole Robinson is live
@Deleted User you can be selfish in some ways and selfless in others
Rather than giving cash give time, like cook or teach a skill imo maybe donate time helping others to develop a skill
yeah, but your destiny is the end goal of happiness right? enjoyable feeling? then if so wouldn't it be good to know what things result in that
<:youwotm8:524083191833952257> Holy shit, you donated $50k to them?!
Probably over time
@Sparky Yes, from ages 0-23.
I am telling myself it was paying a debt ... for existing.
I agree. Most likely he went with that route rather than all or nothing.
@Mr.Black Yes, I plan on mentoring others but nothing more until I am worth $300k.
Have they helped you mentally in some way? @Deleted User
Happiness is what you make it @Deleted User for some thats making cash, for others its starting a family and for some its to be a positive influence on anothers life
See that’s exactly what I’m talking about bro, another blue pill lie is tithing God doesn’t want your money, he wants your time & devotion @Deleted User
@Sparky No, I was abused and they subsisted on government welfare.
Me too. @Deleted User egalitarianism made a lot of moral sense until I realized it had no basis in reality. We arent all equal. We cant all do the same things due to aptitude, socioeconomic status, health, and yeah our gender. Women basicly can only do trivial tasks well.
