Yeah, he kind of showed us how bad it can get lol
Ok. Last chance to save this server.
👆
I dont care personally. I'm indifferent to waifus.
Good.
Then watch the chaos commence.
I already opted out, except for two waifus specifically.
Black Hanekawa and Raphtalia.
Im immune
Is anyone here into investing a lot? I am reading a very simplistic passive investing strategy and think I might just start with it after all debt is paid off.
@PreschoolFightClub which is the option closest to: do whatever the hell you want, just keep the rest of the server as it was ? xD
None, unfortunately.
and what is this waifu wars anyway ? xD
@Deleted User I prefer a balanced portfolio with no more than 20% of my gross earnings per month being invested.
@Rhunespire That’s the traditional percentage isn’t it? 15-20% invested over 30-40 years
What is your asset allocation?
I’m going 60/20/20 large/mid/small basically.
None...yet. still getting out of debt
@conker Just look at the video I’m going to put in <#517757020883910676>
@Deleted User uh nice, finally someone who wants to talk about investing xD
have you seen tfms monkeynomics videos ?
Same. I’m about to make a payment on my debt. After this payment I’ll have $7k left for all my debt. By end of July, it will be gone! Fuck this debt.
@conker Yes however I disagree with him on a few things.
However I am still reading and learning so I’ll take his word for it for now.
Passive investing and self managed investing seems better. I don’t plan on individual stocks. I don’t want to give 1-2% of my entire portfolio away.
I'm not a fan of managed mutual funds as well, that's bs
I’m looking at VTI and VXUS, after looking into lazy portfolios by bogle heads.
Yeah
tfm claims, there are good fund managers out there,
but on the other hand there are statistics, that most of them don't even outperform the index
I think he said that because he works in finance or is following Dave Ramsey’s mindset. I love Dave ramsey for getting out of debt but he’s totally wrong about mortgages, ETFs and mutual funds.
@conker I have under $1m so I really doubt the good investors will take my moneys
then I did read a book from john bogle advocating for etfs (ok, he is a friend of warren buffet, and who would have thought, he ofc has a etf comapany :P)
I think most guys here are far below $1m ;)
especially the younger ones
Side question: As single men... what insurance do we all need? Medical, dental, vision, renter/home, auto and umbrella (once we are worth $1m)?
@conker yes! That’s the guy I’m reading a lot about.
so anyway, I'm probably ok with etfs, although I have some reservations buying shit stocks (i.e. the last years there were banks, etc in there) - so I don't really want this index etf strategy
the next interesting thing was this sector / cycle investing strategy, which actually looked very interesting
Isn’t the argument that the CSRP index self cleanses?
Which is what most vanguard indices are based off...
I think.
The only other trading that interests me is options lol. Which is day trading basically.
