The US and feminism didn't *infect* Japan.

Feminism was already intrinsic to women. Wealth, high population density, and the resulting cultural developments helped it emerge.

In a way, yes i would say the quality of life has increased since the dethroning of there monarch

And giving women rights historically seems to correlate with improvements in general societal wealth.

But, across history, as societies grow in wealth, they share more rights with more of their population?

Japanese fertility has been garbage for a long time now because of that.
