Actually this would be a neat concept, Freddie scares him by being the boys crush, the boys gets put into a 60's era hospital where Freddie still wreathes havoc in the young boy's Psyche, the boy is given meds as a result of the newly found psyche issue, those meds? Heroin, or prescription painkillers, the boy is able to resist Freddy by beginning to develop a crush on a male nurse. (Something we medical staff feel are underrepresented in movies and tv, except for Chicago med (holy fuck theres a lotta dudes there)) Freddie eventually catches on beginning to toy with the boys psyche again and resulting in death (perhaps suicide?)

the person is being charged with animal cruelty and assault with a weapon (which was the dog) so hopefully she ends up in prison for awhile. the dog is OK no injuries, saw a cute little vid of him running around at home
