if racism had a darwin award, trump would get it for failing to live up to evolved standards for racism

2020-09-14 22:43:44 UTC

Can trump be a racist if the total population of the orange color is 1 ? 🤔

Yep I'm not either.

Then you'll be sacrificed to the wagabudugh.

I have some good personal news. I switched from secular music to faith-based music recently, and it has inspired me to actually write songs! I go to a "YouSing" room and share them with others! I've recorded 4 so far, with lyrics of two more sitting on my desk! It's been amazing!

(in other good music news, my pro-Trump music playlist is now over 100 pro-Trump songs that others have written and sung! WOW)

@Armenelos My favorite faith-based music is Theocracy, although ApologetiX is a close second. You can’t listen to ApologetiX around normies, though, because they hear the music, don’t pay attention to the lyrics, assume you’re listening to the originals, and sing along with the secular lyrics. Distracting af.

While Theocracy’s a very symphonic style of metal with lyrics that are sung rather than screamed, it’s also a pretty acquired taste that’s difficult to enjoy around normies.

Another one is that a few days ago, the local NV government told our President he could not hold a rally in their state (even trying to shut down any venues); but the President was able to host a HUGE rally, outside in an airfield, by having everyone involved call it a "peaceful protest". Thousands of people went. There were even signs being held up that said "This is a peaceful protest" it was beautiful. The Presidents rallies always give me hope, and even more so if he can do it in the face of so much backlash. <:AmericanFlag:720120797837918288>

@mathgrant My sister doesn’t understand why I like ApologetiX so much. Based off her reasoning, I don’t think she likes the concept of parodies. I, however, love their songs. Great stuff.

Their "Money for Nothing" parody "Monkeys for Uncles" took cojones, IMHO. Not just the subject matter (because teaching creationism is a hate crime in Current Year), but they parodied the full version of the song, pretty much:
> That little maggot with the earwig and the stinkbug
> They're buggies, but listen here
> That little maggot could become an X-man
> That little maggot needs a billion years
I once had a furry (supposedly conservative and Milo-Yiannopoulos-loving) block me over quoting the original version of these lyrics ._.

Probably not that much of a conservative. Skin too thin

2020-09-17 19:33:00 UTC

Cool guys thanks. I posted the songs I have written and sung so far in <#713864978586927147>. So feel free to give them a listen.

His boyfriend blocked me, too, for reasons I never understood.

https://youtu.be/HRcOgA5_iXc Hopeful in that it shows that the "enemy" may be more open to rational discussion than we realize.

My neighbor went to the food bank yesterday. She said they had so many donations but only a few visitors. The people working filled her entire truck with food. Basically pallets. My neighbor then came home and delivered each house in our little cul-de-sac an entire grocery trips worth of food. I think its hopeful as it shows how someone can bless everyone on the block, as well as how generous people can be in giving. It also shows how blessed we are in the US to have and be able to share so much food. 🥘 🥫 🥬
