technically trump doesn't have to even touch 'roe vs wade' ...just make sure it's legally enforced, as in rape cases only, performed as hospitals with police reporting of said rapes...according to the actual case results of roe-vs-wade, and previous supreme courts have upheld it
which means no more planned parenthood...they've been operation as an abortion clinic illegally for decades
and zero reporting of any rape cases

I think the play is to nominate Merrick Garland for supreme court. He's fairly moderate (moreso than RBG) and if the Dems cry foul they are saying their own pick is a radical righty. Trump can pivot off of it as an appeal to the undecided voter and show that he is the rational candidate.

@Tris the Blancian, Amy Coney Barrett, who President Trump appointed to the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals about 3 years ago would be a good choice to replace RBG. I believe this will be his choice, and I think it would be about the best. She served under Scalia when he was alive and on the SCOTUS.
