It's time for a crusade.

2020-10-29 12:42:59 UTC

no, because the crusades where indiscriminant, we need an inquisition

2020-10-29 13:46:06 UTC

@notJustin43, when openly attacked like that, the Police should be allowed to use "flash bang" (stun) grenades in return.

2020-10-29 13:47:05 UTC

Morally speaking, if someone attacks you, you are free to defend yourself as needed.

2020-10-29 13:59:16 UTC

@Tsarena can a flashbang have lasting effects

2020-10-29 14:06:42 UTC

So does hitting an officer point-blank with a mortar-style firework.

2020-10-29 14:07:29 UTC

Once you've done that, and cheered on the action - the officers deserve to be able to use counter-measures.

2020-10-29 14:08:39 UTC

yeah, but lets not have them stoop to the level or criminals, maybe xtra spicy tear gas

2020-10-29 14:16:28 UTC

I don't think a flashbang is that serious...I'm not saying make them sit on it.

2020-10-29 14:16:48 UTC

Maybe I'm underestimating the extent of the lasting effects, but I don't see it as a big deal.

2020-10-29 14:16:57 UTC

fair,

2020-10-29 14:17:26 UTC

I think it's a mild response compared to people who are actively cheering on an attempt at injuring these officers.

2020-10-29 14:18:04 UTC

Just my views...I should probably do some research on flashbangs, now that the topic has been brought up.

2020-10-29 14:18:27 UTC

I really am not familiar with the frequency at which lasting effects occur, nor the severity of the effects.

2020-10-29 14:56:30 UTC

If someone were repeatedly blasted with a flashbang. One could face permanent vision and hearing loss and suffer from major concussions. However if you were just blasted by 1 the effects dont last more than a few minutes but a minor concussion will be present

2020-10-29 15:02:42 UTC

You can also suffer cuts and slight burns from a flashbang, but that only happens when your standing right on top of it or literally holding it in your hand when it explodes as flash's are designed to have very little fragmentation

2020-10-29 15:05:33 UTC

Interesting

2020-10-29 15:07:04 UTC

And Flashbang is kinda a missrepresentation of what they actually do. They dont actually generate a flash, its a shockwave that rattles the persons brain to temporarily disrupt ones senses

2020-10-29 15:08:25 UTC

So sunglasses or looking away from them really wont help mitigate their effects

2020-10-29 15:15:01 UTC

I feel since it has perminant effects that is should not be used

2020-10-29 15:15:59 UTC

thing is you only get the permanent effects if you are repeatedly blasted by several of them over the course of a year

2020-10-29 15:16:27 UTC

or if you were next to a bunch of them going off in rapid succession

2020-10-29 15:18:07 UTC

and in PD its practiced that only a small amount can be thrown over a wide area

2020-10-29 15:21:22 UTC

which really the only way to get blasted by them enough to suffer the permanent affects, youd have to be a pretty terrible person choosing to going to riots or in other events where Flash's are used

2020-10-29 15:25:19 UTC

They just need to start using this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9p5naCkz2w

2020-10-29 16:16:15 UTC

yup

2020-10-29 16:16:23 UTC

they are pretty cool

2020-10-29 16:41:12 UTC

My news pop up.

I though the riots were a "Myth" Jerry Nadler.

And CNN, i thought they were "Peaceful Protests"

this website is pretty centrist which is why it kind of makes me nervous

2020-10-29 19:14:24 UTC

Look how well models and polls worked in 2016 against crocked clinton

2020-10-29 19:15:25 UTC

yeah, but i just need to prepare myself for the possibility of a loss

2020-10-29 19:15:30 UTC

it wont be the end of the world

2020-10-29 19:15:41 UTC

but it will not be ideal

2020-10-29 19:15:54 UTC

It'll be the end of democracy

> this website is pretty centrist which is why it kind of makes me nervous
@C0rNfUz3d Ya know.. idk who said this.. but the other day someone stated that since the polls in 2016 were in favor of Clinton, no one was gonna believe them this go round due to how off they were. I think they’re just making the numbers more severe to compensate for that.
