Take if from Joe Biden. We need to fill the seat. Anyone remember this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66HVrfcgYgU
New poll in from Rasmussen (one of the only ones to correctly guess the 2016 popular vote) has Trump up by 1% nationally. Just shows how much of a spread there is with polls these days. BTW they had him at -3% last week. https://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/elections/election_2020/white_house_watch_oct26

Don't worry i got this
when i also had this
these days you gotta eat red pills like they are flintstones vitamins
true, but never in the volume that we see in this election. It puts a strain on the election infrastructure of places that are not used to heavy volumes of mail in ballots
talking about this rocket? https://www.foxnews.com/us/french-air-to-air-missile-florida-airport
maybe, this was an air to air missile and not a sam missile
but it was in august
Yeah i think ive seen that. Its pretty crazy that so many ignore the roots of the blm organization/movement
kind of looks like they just went to L.A. and picked up the first homeless guy they saw
So many people are afraid of being racist that they dont speak up about the absurdity of the movement
and of course these people are going out and rioting/looting in cities which have higher minority populations, meaning they are going around destroying the communities they wish to "support"
creating more division between those communities and police, meaning a higher incident rate of use of force
Yeah I'm never voting for the guy.
I wasn't too convinced with Shiva, probably giving my vote to O'Connor.
He probably will get a lot of write ins, but I don't think it's too likely that we get a Republican senator any time soon anyway so O'Connor is fighting a losing battle. Most people that listen to the leftist crap in this state can hardly even stand our "republican" governor
lol i will say that i wasnt too interested in politics back in 2016 and I just kind of sat back and laughed at a bunch of my friends that wanted hillary to win cause it was such an upset. But now i moved into a more conservative area (plymouth county) and the way they do the districts in this damn state means that we cant even have as much as a republican representative
cause they count us in with south boston
even though my town and the ones neighboring are like a 70% red voting area
thats how they play games with house seats
and people say gerrymandering helps republicans
yeahhhh
lmao cant be gerrymandering if the left is doing it, its just what makes sense
Yeah this really makes sense
Oh i know i used to live in gaithersburg
any blue state you can go in and see the insanity of the districts
twitter has their T.O.S. but they also have their P.O.S.
next thing you know they find hunter and tony bobulinsky dead in a car crash in dc somehooowww
the CCP has backups so its cool
<:TrumpSmile:720121948088041513>
They have copies of them he said
so hopefully that means they still have everything
human rights arent human rights
incorrect polls are a human right
well they dont murder the babies until after they harvest the organs though
China #1
Since when do we gas legal immigrants?
ohhhhh ok
just so we can keep this as part of this chat room
WHO BUILT THE CAGES @President Elect John Stossel
lmao
well i appreciated it
seen it, laughed, then threw up thinking theres people taking it seriously
They will take anything he says even if its a joke and make it his "doctrine"
i just cant believe an animal as small as a coyote is bringing whole humans across the desert to us
I think it's so ridiculous how some people think white supremacists are out there in huge numbers and run rampant around the country when they are despised by literally everyone
They just need to start using this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9p5naCkz2w
she tried to withhold evidence that would exonerate someone that was on death row, luckily our court system stopped her
It certainly has happened many times in the past where scientists wanted to prove a principle but did not want to jump through the hoops of federal regulations. Can't say its always very accurate but its more of a demonstrable strategy
take them for example lol
The people saying that kung flu is racist arent the same people that it is supposedly racist against
Well Norway is pretty close to the country that has a festival surrounding bludgeoning whales to death in huge numbers so I'm assuming whales arent exactly considered endangered up there
Its like they know the results of the election already
although it is true that medical masks work to some degree, its also true that it is only when they are rendered sterile and more specifically the effective kind are the n95 which have a seal around the nose and mouth, preventing particles from making their way around the mask. The problem with masks that most people wear is that they are not sterile besides the first use and because people touch them so much they are actually putting themselves at more risk of infection
It is true that cloth masks prevent larger particulates from escaping, however it is only the medical grade masks that have the specific permeability that prevents things as small as viruses to make it through
but they dont seal around your face, which is why in medical settings they use n95 masks with medical grade cloth masks on top of them
The proven science is that masks help to prevent the spread when worn by those who are sick, but do not prevent those who are not sick from contracting it
and its only sterile medical grade masks that have been proven to prevent spread to some degree
that is with the sterile medical grade masks because they are designed specifically to have a low permeability
Yes, you can sterilize them by exposing them to temperatures similar to that of a hospitals sterilizing washing machine
the "homemade" or commercially available non-medical masks are not proven to prevent anything other than the spread of major particulates, those which are much larger than whats needed to spread viral infections\
they are not held to the same standard as medical grade equipment like the blue masks that are out there
and it has been shown that with the typical cloth mask can actually cause side-effects such as mask-mouth
that would be the hope, but the vast majority of people have to reuse their mask and only subject them to the temperatures that their washing machines can produce, which isnt enough to prevent the growth of bacteria\
in a perfect world if those who were sick wore medical grade masks that were sterilized daily, it would mitigate some of the spread, but with everyone being told to wear them no matter what it is actually causing a large detriment to the health of the population
those who are more susceptible to bacterial infections for instance are getting pneumonia at a higher rate with the mass wearing of masks\
funny enough thats the most effective way that a person can prevent themselves from getting sick, due to your hands being the primary spreader of bacteria and viruses
one of the ways people masks get bacteria on them is by touching them with their hands too much\
I think the main thing to take away from the whole mask debate is wear one if youre sick, but its better to stay home. Other than being sick and stopping others from getting it, it wont really prevent you from getting sick
and no one can be mandated to wear one
only way to stop yourself from getting it is possibly with an n95 but dont hog those when our medical professionals need them
besides it is possible for the virus to transmit through other orifices, like the eyes
@Al <3 I do not behave that way even now, I personally do not wear a mask unless a business absolutely requires me to do so, due to my low exposure to sick people. It can conceivably help those who have the flu to keep from spreading it, but only to a limited effectiveness.
@chaz that is true, however it is due to the fact that those orifices have higher traffic of airflow that masks prove to be less effective than most think
Some countries wear masks during regular influenza seasons but it is only the individuals that are sick that wear them. In addition to that it mostly comes from a culture that is typically exposed to other air pollutants that have created the belief in the effectiveness of masks. like asian countries for instance which have had high levels of industrial pollutants in their air. of course the industrial pollutants come in much larger particles that can actually be prevented somewhat more effectively by the wearing of masks
The fact that these people get away with shit like this for months is disgusting. Thank goodness the law looks out for people https://www.dailysignal.com/2020/10/21/faced-with-lawsuit-cuomo-reverses-closure-of-jewish-school-in-new-york-city/
not according to the supreme court https://www.cbsnews.com/news/wisconsin-election-supreme-court-rules-againt-absentee-ballots-after-election-day/
The reason it may take longer to know who wins is because the democrats are going to contest the results just like in 2016. But I think it will be clear who wins on election night itself
Because the WHO believes that the little protection that they do offer outweighs the potential other risks that they present. Also they operate mostly based upon scientific studies, which are mostly surrounding the use of medical grade masks and do little to explain the benefits of commercial/homemade cloth masks
It all depends on what your personal beliefs are and thats the point. Those that want to wear masks can do it, but there is not sufficient evidence to support the mandate of mask wearing
I'm not discounting the accomplishments of scientists around the world, but on these topics the science changes rapidly. Even on those topics you mentioned its not like there has always been a 100% consensus of the science. Doesn't mean that the WHO is completely wrong, in fact they are correct about some of the benefits of the medical grade equipment. But the fact of the matter is that there is a lot of conflicting information surrounding regular cloth masks that isn't settled by the WHO or anyone really around the world
I believe that the majority of people at the WHO wants to do the best that they can for the world, therefore they create recommendations based on what is currently available, even if it is not complete science. I know scientist who are a part of the WHO and they are good people, but when it comes to advice that they give, it is only based on the best available information they can gather, not only on fully flushed out scientific evidence
No I think it would be wrong to completely ignore their advice, but it's also important to consider the evidence that they have before them. When considering my personal beliefs, I may have more information than the typical person regarding these topics since I work in the bioinformatics field, but I tend to rely on organizations when they have presented sufficient evidence
For instance Dr. Fauci is a very great scientist. In fact I know people that have worked with him. But unfortunately you have many people politicizing his information and now he has become a bit of an icon as opposed to someone exclusively investigating the evidence.
The same thing is happening to many worldwide organizations
politics influences a lot of their information
COVID-19 obviously isn't a hoax, but many people begin to believe it because of the holes that can be poked in a lot of information surrounding it. Just like any serious issue in the world, politics makes its way into the information, clouding what really can be counted as fact
thats the point, it shouldnt be political, but it has become that way
people take little kernels of truth and run with it, in either direction
