Well see, the reason I'm sour about it is I actually have 2 degrees in genetics (I recently left my PhD program and settled instead for a Master's degree).

It was amazing to watch how quickly my colleagues were foaming at the mouth to push forward and accept "evidence" that the virus was completely natural in origin

I've looked at the genome...and It's very clearly no bioweapon

...but that does not mean it's natural, and I have yet to find any "evidence" that proves it has a natural origin.

Moreover, I actually think the virus has a couple of suspicious features....albeit, I can't definitely prove it escaped from a lab eitiher

but considering the CCP has already had at least one SARS outbreak originate from a lab (supposedly some of the same researchers who now work at their BSL-4 lab), I really don't think it's out of the question to suspect it is possible this virus escaped from a lab

They are no longer putting value on diversity of perspective (the original argument for why diversity strengthened us as a nation)

It all comes down to diversity of identity, and nothing else

to them, identity has become value

...it's a movement that has (although delusional) somewhat good intentions I guess (if you ignore the fact that they're driven by a social hierarchy that values victimization and redefining morality for clout)

...but really doesn't share many fundamental differences from the racist, indentiarian societies of the past...that valued people based on race
