Oh he's gone 🤣

2020-10-17 06:37:23 UTC

Couldn't handle the epicness

I think silver coins is better than gold coins for prepping. If shtf scenario happens and you need something to trade with finding a item worth the value of gold would be hard but silver is alot more affordable for the common person right now

2020-10-18 22:20:27 UTC

Isn't most gold supposedly in all of those sunken pirate ships?

2020-10-18 23:57:37 UTC

There's supposedly a lot on the sunken Spanish ships, even by today's standards it's a lot

2020-10-19 03:32:55 UTC

They did love their gold

2020-10-19 03:44:29 UTC

Just didn't love their ships enough to make them good

"Why did we use graphite tipped rods?, well, it's the same reason that we use low grade refined uranium and are the only nation that uses a water cooled reactor system with a positive void coefficient, it's cheaper"

2020-10-19 04:48:24 UTC

I'm paraphrasing but you get the gist

2020-10-19 13:31:14 UTC

Could I make it rich searching for sunken treasure?

2020-10-19 13:31:20 UTC

Maybe that'll be my job

2020-10-19 13:31:50 UTC

You'd have to find it, but yeah

2020-10-21 03:07:37 UTC

@Scott_Cole you could power a well with solar, but you'll likely need to go with a 24 or 48V (dc) setup to get the 240V AC needed for a well. I'd find out the horsepower of the pump, as 1hp = ~750 watts (theoretically)
Feel free to DM me if you have any questions

2020-10-21 07:20:29 UTC

My well is 220. i have a generator ans pile of gas.

2020-10-22 03:38:21 UTC

That's probably the smarter way to go tbh

2020-10-23 21:00:43 UTC

@snipers222 Will do, thank you.

2020-10-29 01:42:23 UTC

gas can only last so long i suggest getting a diesel or dual fuel generator

2020-10-29 02:24:02 UTC

How can I prep even though I'm in a college dorm? I'll be moving out next year (hopefully to my own house), but I have no idea what to do. I kind of want to start now in case something happens after November 3rd.

2020-10-29 02:28:23 UTC

what college

2020-10-29 02:43:49 UTC

@SPRTNWRRYR1974 figure out what you are prepping for first. Chaos after election, civil war, GSM, ect... then find someone knowledgeable about what to expect on youtube or bitchute. How you prep will vary on what you believe is going to happen

2020-10-29 02:51:28 UTC

Check your college rules on what you can and can't posses in the dorms. The last thing you want is to get a room check and your items confiscated (I.e Bug out/Get home Bag)

2020-10-29 06:20:01 UTC

I’m in a very similar boat. I got one week of food storage and a 72 hour kit and an atlas and global coordinates to make it back to my family but it definitely is harder at college to do this type of stuff

2020-10-29 06:21:26 UTC

But rec management is my major so I find myself with a lot more wilderness survival stuff than your average student but that’s for wilderness, not urban survival. Still, it’s good to have

2020-10-29 08:08:24 UTC

Best thing is to start small, an overnight/3 day bag. Phone charger/battery pack, a good knife and multitool, dried foods like jerkey and rasins, nuts, and a good water bottle

2020-10-29 08:08:43 UTC

Extra socks and rain gear are also massivly overlooked

2020-10-29 08:09:33 UTC

Its all about building on what you have so the basics is the only good way to start

2020-10-29 13:30:25 UTC

I'm thinking chaos at best, war at worst. I'm going to order some Patriot food today. If nothing else, it will stay good for a long time.

2020-10-29 13:39:43 UTC

I reccomend making your own dehydrated and canned food, if you can. A lot of those brands out there are snake oil.

2020-10-29 13:41:50 UTC

How?

2020-10-29 16:45:49 UTC

man i just get cheap stuff thatll go far like big peanut butter jars, big bags of rice and beans, and instant potatoes ect. ive gotten some patriot supply things but wasnt impressed with how much i paid for pancake mix and other crap

2020-10-29 16:46:49 UTC

get water filters too, allot easier than storing enough water for extended periods of time. i got a couple decent bug out bags ill post if i can figure out how to upload pics haha

2020-10-29 16:49:05 UTC

ive got enough to feed my family of four for 2 monthes stuffed in one plastic bin that can fit in the bottom of your closet

2020-10-29 17:00:24 UTC

@SPRTNWRRYR1974 Buy a dehydrator from your local store and a pressure canner as well. You can pick up jars for canning and pickling from your local grocery store

2020-10-29 17:00:42 UTC

Googling this stuff still helps too.
