lol, that reminds me. my papa taught me a trick to cook canned food with a 12v cig-lighter if shtf. He says it obviously is not healthy and it puts a strain on your car battery if the vehicle isnt running, but he tried it with no problems.

he even said if you don't have a can opener, you can take a knife or a screw driver and punch a hole in the lid to A), keep it from blowing up, and B) at least drink the juice inside. xD

Heads up on ReadyWise, slow shipping and potentially poorly quality food.

2020-11-25 22:09:54 UTC

Slow shipping?

2020-11-25 22:10:08 UTC

I haven't tried the food but my family got ours in a week or so

2020-11-25 23:01:48 UTC

I forget where we got ours, but it took like 4 months to get half of the shipment just due to covid.

2020-11-25 23:01:55 UTC

2020-11-27 13:34:40 UTC

You can get one through a private transfer and get a permit to carry it at 18.

2020-11-27 13:34:55 UTC

The gun can be transferred at any time, to my knowledge.

2020-11-27 14:58:43 UTC

Same

2020-11-27 14:59:18 UTC

And I'm 17

2020-11-27 15:06:11 UTC

Every Day Carry

2020-11-27 15:06:36 UTC

Ah I see

2020-11-27 15:06:56 UTC

I know 2 lighters is a little much but

2020-11-27 15:07:32 UTC

Is a sword too much

2020-11-27 15:08:18 UTC

Depends on context

2020-11-27 15:30:56 UTC

Not in all states iirc

2020-11-27 16:53:40 UTC

@SurvivalPNW how/where do you carry that on you? I'd like to edc a fixed blade for a while, but not sure how I would do it haha

2020-11-27 16:53:58 UTC

Plus I need to find a good be to do it with

2020-11-27 17:36:07 UTC

@Nope its a smaller fixed blade l, it fits in my pocket. Its about 8 inches i would say

2020-11-27 17:36:28 UTC

@Nope its agreat knife

2020-11-27 17:36:34 UTC

A great*

2020-11-27 17:41:21 UTC

How? I know about the private transfers thing, but my understanding was that you can't carry off you own property. I assume this is just state dependent though?

2020-11-27 17:54:18 UTC

Yeah it's state dependant

2020-11-27 17:54:50 UTC

Here in SD you can carry at 18, concealed or not

2020-11-27 17:56:51 UTC

Suprising as it is you can open carry in washington state, but thanks for the tip. Only two more years then

2020-11-27 17:57:48 UTC

Ah cool

2020-11-27 17:59:17 UTC

If you're gonna open carry then I would highly recommend that you get training to defend that gun, incase someone tries to grab it

2020-11-27 19:02:17 UTC

Yeah for sure, i have been shooting my whole life. But that extra bit of training would go a long way i think
