Most background checks are online kinda “quick-search” on the NCIS database. The 4473 paper you fill out is filed in-house and destroyed after 25 years. Its only given to law enforcement at request and with a warrent
25 years is a long time
My thought exactly
~~Or if youve got a good FFL theyll disapear if gov bad~~
But the paperwork goes no further than your FFL

I owned my first gun at like...10 or 12? Lol
nice. I know a fam that taught their kids to shoot pretty young like that. Their youngest boy got leukemia when he was a still a baby and so they taught him to shoot on a 30-06 at age 3 or something. o-o
I guess they just didn't want him going into the next life having not learned to shoot or something xD (edit: I think the kid ended up recovering from the cancer)
I was taught at 6 but 3 is a whole nother level of 'Merica
indeed. this was also back in Texas tho
I started shooting at 3-4

Maybe i’ll buy some .308...im getting down to like 300rds
But since noone called me out on it, i shall post a pic of my AR clips
I started shooting at age of 8-9 with black powder rifles with my grandpa...then a long time of not touching any until I started Basic in the Marines
doesnt some of the federal 556 ship on clips?
Does anyone here carry around a backpack insert? I was thinking about getting one for a work bag. It’s a level 3 hard plate, 10 lbs. I feel like that might be a bit much.
How much weight would you save by going 3a over 3?
Particularly if you can get soft 3a over steel 3.
I can get soft armor which is 2 lbs, stops up to a 44 mag / .357 sig
Level 3 steel would stop rifle rounds tho
Wonder if my laptop + note pad + soft armor would be enough for a 5.56 lol
Without knowing your work or where you work it's hard to know if you would really need rifle over just pistol rated 3a soft however I would think for day to day the much lighter soft would likely be something you would actualy potentially carry.
Yeah, I understand what you mean. I think I will just take my 11x14 plate out of my plate carrier and just walk around with that for a week. I just wondered if anyone had experience
Interestingly enough, we are not allowed to have body armor of any-kind, to include armored backpacks, here at school. apparently some kid even got suspended for it. :/
What kind of nazi state do you live in?
