i hear curved hilts are harder to parry than other kinds

Do the side lasers actually do anything?

i assume thats what those side lasers do

They can be defensive to protect against slashes against the wrist, or offensive in the sense that if you get in the bind (When two swords meet together) you can try and hit your opponent with them
