They go together like peanut butter and jam
@Mr.Black yup, the so called "conservatives" are basically useless ...what did they actually conserve ?
I was on r/gendercritical
Hilarious shit
@Flame of truth Eros no, you can have morals without religion but religion has been used to hold morals together
Historically speaking
@Mr.Black how?
Religion doesn't equal tradition
And vice versa
^
@conker They conserved their own cowardice
All our morals come from Christian or Greco Roman and their both religious
@ManOWar True im just saying that they go pretty well together
That's not true at all
@Flame of truth Eros that's incorrect
Explain
@Punished Korgoth yeah
@ManOWar ''muh judeo christrian values''
What morals are u talking about
Positivism heavily influenced Western morals
The belief in truth
The belief in presumption of innocence
Hol up, I'll need to write a list
But i need to be on pc for that
The English Bill of Rights formed the basis of a secular government and the formation of the American bill of rights
@ManOWar The founding fathers were christians!!!!!!
Religion teaches certain morals but moral fabric has been changed by the irreligious movements many times
They go together
Truth is a word that points to the achievement of ones goals, so truth is only important for the goals you are going for. For example if you want to be fatter the truth is you have to eat more. If you want to be skinnier the truth is you either have to eat less or expend more energy.
You can't have one without the other
So I say all that to say what truth are you pursuing
Me?
Or just in general
Yes in a way I’m putting you in a position as a teacher and I am trying to validate your teachings
Without religion their is no reason to be moral
Without religion only power matters
Okay. That's a pretty vague question though
Truth is kind of a big category
What is the specific thing
