Why have all of my English teachers been leftists/communists

9th/10th grade (same teacher switched grades): said twitter was a reliable source for news, said “we should silence those who want to discriminate against us”,
11th grade: warned us after trump killed Baghdadi that “trump assasinated a really important person to another country” and “they’re threatening to attack us now”
And now this year
We have to read BLM/SJW poems DAILY and cries about them. Oh yeah and just recently said “The rock just endorsed biden, so if that doesn’t get you to vote biden idk what will”

It tends to be anybody in the teaching profession, although there are some good teachers. Many of them are indoctrinated in college and never question what they are taught in college. Then they have their bias confirmed through each other, which, in the end, results in them believing they are right and teaching it to students.

The only ones I’ve had these issues with are English teachers

I’ve had two trump supporting math teachers, and if my history teachers are political they definitely don’t show it, they’ve been really central

I think English teachers have more leniency on what people read, but almost every teaching position has the opportunity, besides math.

College english courses are the worst. I am in one at the moment. One of my professors claims is that some peoples arguments and ideas shouldn't be heard. Anti 1a. She also quotes from people such as Judith Butler. 🤮 I am saving screenshots of every time a professor in college has tried to make me a leftie. The things I do for a bachelor's degree in IT.
