@𝓴𝓾𝓳𝓲 i dont suggest it tho just stick with the 70

2020-06-28 15:54:17 UTC

I graduated with several stress fractures and bronchitis. No way in hell I was gonna be held back. I had a slight limp marching across that field.

@Rat King I wouldn't doubt it, but that summer heat and humidity in Benning is no joke.

@Deleted User yeah stress fractures are no joke- this one girl couldn't make it- she had bronchitis stress fractures in her hips, shins, wrists, ankles - still managed to get the highest pt score for females and ... the docs kept miss diagnosing her with cold- bronchitis- pnemonia- bronchitis and then medically discharged her for prexisting asthma.

Welcome, @Lore.

@Rat King I wish I could have went in spring. Benning is down near the Alabama line. Hot and humid as hell in summer. It's not so bad here in NC...We usually have mild winters

2020-06-28 15:57:39 UTC

Greetings everyone 😊

2020-06-28 15:57:40 UTC

she fell down a flight of stairs which prob added to her injuries but idk didn't see her much after that

2020-06-28 15:57:50 UTC

First time I took the ASVAB, I got a 90... didn’t do the best with automotive mechanics because I don’t have much experience in that area.

2020-06-28 15:58:16 UTC

Hey Tyler, do you ever go into vc?

2020-06-28 15:58:28 UTC

@Captain_destroyer_2015 welllll still a 90 is high af

2020-06-28 15:58:37 UTC

yeah 90 is crazy

2020-06-28 15:58:43 UTC

<@!726809085395075172> That's pretty messed up for the docs to do that. She should have been given a chance.

2020-06-28 15:58:50 UTC

yeah

2020-06-28 15:59:34 UTC

@Deleted User yeah but she also had shitty home life and she didn't fight it anymore. Her husband left (who was also military) and her mom kept sending letters telling her to come home so all around a shitty situation.

I tried for ROTC scholarships in a few branches, but I wasn’t picked when my package came to multiple boards.

2020-06-28 16:00:16 UTC

@Captain_destroyer_2015 how was your PT score

2020-06-28 16:00:30 UTC

<@!726809085395075172> Military, no matter what they tell you, isn't really family-friendly.

2020-06-28 16:00:32 UTC

2020-06-28 16:01:02 UTC

My USAF PT score was a 96%

2020-06-28 16:01:02 UTC

I loved ROTC in high school. i had the best instructors.

2020-06-28 16:01:15 UTC

@Kaiser Wilhelm II I'm sure you can find a school- for my school we have 2 or 3 other cadets who come to mine for ROTC

2020-06-28 16:01:39 UTC

@Captain_destroyer_2015 yeahhh im army idk what that means im sorry XD what about the raw scores

2020-06-28 16:01:55 UTC

Did AJROTC all of HS

2020-06-28 16:02:11 UTC

I went through basic training with a kid who scored too low on the ASVAB to be a cook

2020-06-28 16:02:20 UTC

@Captain_destroyer_2015 but you could also do rotc for 2 years and compete for a scholarship- most ppl do tht

2020-06-28 16:02:22 UTC

So they let him go AO instead. Aviation ordnanceman
