So i volunteer at a call center in VA- contact tracing for rona- and i got this call from a guy asking for a number to call to report a business for not following the executive order to wear face masks inside... and i was about to tell him the executive order isn't a law/ cannot be enforced as a law but he was a mad boomer so i decided not to tell him, gave him the number to call - the hotline to report them for not following the executive order (which i understand if it was a resturant but idk if it was, he said no one including the employees were wearing masks)- So i told the other volunteers that an executive order isn't law and i said privately owned businesses have the right to follow or ignore it like the costomers have the right not to shop there.... these people started to argue that it's irrisponsible on the employers part for not enforcing wearing masks inside, and i looked at them and i said but we are 6 ft apart and not wearing our masks inside, so what's the issue with businesses doing the same- like what we're doing..... yeah i dont think i'm welcomed there anymore.

I was XD but fr can someone tell me- was something changed where executive orders like the one enforcing wearing the face mask inside (VA) can be reported - there's legit health officals giving citations for failure to comply (or that's what i was told was going to/ is happening)

oh a cadet from my school got kicked out because he posted a pic or someone posted a pic of himself protesting the protest- he and a few other people were open carrying annnd ofc it was on twitter. and now he's out of the program- idk if the cadet posted anything with certain words buuut make sure if you're in the military and you have a public profile hell even private you stay a political

@𝓴𝓾𝓳𝓲 i was in the guard- it depends on your leadership, your plt and who you surround yourself with too. promotion is slow, but if you do join just volunteer for everything and float around or in between diff groups- get to know everyone including medics you should be good

@𝓴𝓾𝓳𝓲 oh and then it also depends what MOS you get and if you want to go be an officer or just enlist for a few years or make a career enlisted- lots of options.

@𝓴𝓾𝓳𝓲 that's okay, they'll teach you in BCT and the NG rotates to oversea deployments too.. sometimes diff units are attached to a sister unit because they need people. DEF check out the coast guard but beware there's more limitations

@𝓴𝓾𝓳𝓲 check out all branches- keep an opened mind see what peaks your interest and see who offers you the best thing and provides the best opportunities for personal and professional development.

Oh and i left for bct a few months later than planned because MEPS lost my paperwork but there's nothing you can do there XD... @Jaxx yeah you can only miss a certain amount of days in training- but def know when you need to see a doc cuz lemme tell you a sinus infection during BCT is not fun

@Deleted User yeah stress fractures are no joke- this one girl couldn't make it- she had bronchitis stress fractures in her hips, shins, wrists, ankles - still managed to get the highest pt score for females and ... the docs kept miss diagnosing her with cold- bronchitis- pnemonia- bronchitis and then medically discharged her for prexisting asthma.

she fell down a flight of stairs which prob added to her injuries but idk didn't see her much after that

For ROTC you can apply for scholarship through your HS and get an interview with the PMS- or be a cadet and compete - go through a board and do an interview and then you may or may not be selected for scholarship
