you can blame Reagan, Bush sr and jr, Clinton, and Obama for that.
A lot of people are complacent as well. Lots of people don't care enough to check if what they're buying is made in China for example.
That i also agree too. China doesnt broadcast the things they are doing. It's always better to overestimate your opponent than underestimate
<:RotatedSemiFullyAutomatic:761629946564575242> if we go to war I'm ready tho
NGL I am not downloading shit
I'm only a highschooler who can't drive yet so I'm not the most educated, but there are some good cards
No downloads...
oh sorry
my message was too long
my bad, won't happen again
okay so let me explain that military might is not just measured in man power, which the USA still beats China with the worlds largest Unofficial military and the second largest official military.
China also has a large market for rare earth metals too
Definitely. And the cheap pricing of chinese products is working against us. I am in full support of a trade war and forcing american companies to pull back, even if it meant we have to agree to buy goods at a higher price. But for some people? Not so much
I will debate this one with you in discord if you want 🙂 I am in general 1 🙂
oh rich people would just price it more but they are aware that they would get less customers. poor people already don't make much money
plus I got 30 minutes to kill before my wife and I head off
idk when trump did a steel tarrif on china and it worked
how much isn't much money?
China is more ready than us, from my perspective. They have mandatory services, and more people to spare.
as in steel has gone down after the tarrifs
I think it should be good 👍
It's only measured by results
And the results don't prove we are superior
It's hard to determine money since the value of a dollar varies so much, I would say under 30k but it depends on what you buy, america is really good with producing food I presume
lmao I thought it was that feminist book for a sec
?
@Knotty I can pretty much never talk in vc b/c I'm supposed to be doing hw rn
okay so if I were to live on just teh basics I could get away with spending under $7,500 a year on food, fuel, and housing.
oh really? I don't live in america and have a limited understanding of
economics
<:DerpyMeow:675825290425008171>
so if we for some reason cut chinas supply out of the blue, how much would things cost?
more
a lot more
well duh
but they also depend on us
like triple I guess
so it would hurt both
Not sure there's a formula for that, but the plus side is that there would also be more jobs available to Americans
