Who here is gay
👌
No, I mean show me your hands
Are they big?
I can show you something else that's big. 😉
Is there a site I can see what potential upgrades I can make to my laptop?
I've got a Lenovo y700 but it has a HDD and 8gb ram. Feels slow as fuck even when running Photoshop even though it's only 3 months old
Or enlighten me why a i5 laptop is slow as fuck running stuff so simple
@kaetaa just saying i5 doesn't mean much. Which gen? Model?
An SSD would be a good start in any case
SSD, then I7, then 16g
I think you can offload rendering to GPU in Adobe settings if your laptop has one too
But I'm not a big photoshop guy
Ssd makes that big a difference in things outside of boot time ?
Not really.
opening applications
copying/moving files
I don't see why wouldn't have one unless you're absolutely strapped for cash tbh
Also this.
It's extremely pleasant.
But it's not a huge game changer for workflows.
also no noise <:alithink:327930371796893698>
Opening large files in cad / psd
No noise/vibration, less power usage / game files&loading times
Browser cache speed
Tons of irl usage ir affects to
But the speed boost is non-noticeable unless you actualy do some work on your comp
SSD can be bought for cheap
also >boot time
