it only becomes water weight in the negative sense when you have a salty diet
otherwise it helps with weight loss to be hydrated
The upside is I can lift like 500 lbs in the leg sled because I've been carrying my fat ass around for so long
I work in a hospital canteen, of course I have a salty diet my man. Salt is hard to affordably escape in burgerland

But yeah, 300 lbs was my "what the fuck is wrong with me" moment. I calculated out my TDEE and it was something like 5000 calories. Just cutting my portions in half has been a huge improvement
