@TCxUFATIME my new workplace is 6 minutes away from me by walk
Or one city bus station (2 minutes)
But the bus comes every 7 minutes, so it's sometimes not worth waiting
I'd like to get an electric motorbike
But the prices...
They're like 400 bucks down in chinatown
Tho pretty much everything is probably not street legal or remotely safe
Something non street legal bikes do not get sold in first world
Cheapest I can get here is 2k
@TCxUFATIME I used to travel that much to my work too
public transport too
i love travelling but going back home after being really tired sucked
Mine varies too, depending in what time I leave in the morning and finish, the drive is mostly motorways but traffic can get fucky during peak hours
You suck
You suck at splatoon
7k should I?
Elektro-roller sind die zukunft
Probably not
Why is there no terminal tower defense game? Am I going to have to make one on my own?

I will make it a viral hit amongst Linux nerds. Set up a Patreon. Earn $1-2 per month. Retire. Settle down in Thailand.
Mmyes.
congrats mang
didnt you say it was a .net job?
I have 3 offers from 3 different companies to chose from right now
oh lol
that's not unusual for developers
you shouldn't just take gthe first job you find
better take something that you can imagine doing for some years
- the gnu challenge job is a hipster startup, most people are younger than me and have a totally different point of view on tech. They love Rust, Go, JavaScript and thousands of weird frameworks. The company gives you a free Mac, a fre iPhone and a free iPad.
- the .NET job is a 4000 people company that exists since the 1970s, used to be a warehouse, and now does e-commerce. The nicest part here is that they give everything to the employees at wholesale price (without earning profit on it) and they have almost 350 000 different things in their shop.
- the other one is not development but technical consulting. It's a payment services company
I am still looking for the 4th one where I am in the recruitment process. I need to start working 01.06 latest if I don't want to start draining my savings - so I have time
I think the most exciting one would be the .NET job, they want to automatize most of the processes inside the warehouse and remove roughly half of the warehouse personell within the next 4 years

been to a few companies where half the warehouse is robots
the other half is humans because robots suck at picking up random items from bins
the humans are just guided by computers anyways
