Its easier to defraud banks with cards, just lie to the police and say you were held up and forced to surrender your PIN, go to an ATM in disguise and drain your account. Then open a fraud case, worst case you get jerked around and can only have your own cash.

That being said, I love using android pay. But since I have to carry my driver's licence and conceal carry permit, there's no reason to not have my physical cards
