Dam she found me - off to work I go! Bye for now!

Wilford Owen wrote intricate poems. Like Philip Larkin and T.S.Eliot. I have some early ones like that, but with simpler topics

*What’s the secret to a happy marriage?*
1). Find a woman who can cook and clean.
2). A woman who’s an animal in bed.
3). A woman with lots of money.
4). *Make sure these three women never meet*

2021-01-03 23:08:59 UTC

My first one could never master cooking or cleaning. The second was an animal in bed but 3 years of listening to characters like Judge Judy in the background began to depress me. (Ha. And ANYTHING can become boring. ( ha

Husband: *Just once I wish you’d admit I’m right!*
Wife: *Just once, I wish you’d admit you’re wrong!*
Husband: *Fine! I’m wrong!*
Wife: *Finally, something you’re right about!*

God forgives, men forget, women remember EVERYTHING lol

GG @PeacebewithYou!, you just advanced to level 2!

How does a man really satisfy his wife in bed?
*By sleeping on the sofa*

2021-01-03 23:17:19 UTC

Husband standing in front of the mirror asks his wife:
*Will you still love me when I’m old, fat, and bald?*
Wife replies:
*I do*

Some people say their wedding was the best day of their lives.
*I’m guessing they’ve never had two candy bars fall out of the vending machine simultaneously.*

@Clare P. SPOTTY
It came to me, in the course of time
That I was meant to write in rhyme --
I have no urge to tell long stories, with
drawn out explanations
I only mean to portray scenes, and tell
of exhaltations.
Our deepest emotions, our finest
thoughts,
Come not in pages, but just in spots.

From "First Cuts and the Deepest "

*Stuck On You*

You're sucrose, you're glucose,
You're fructose and more,
From your head to your feet...
Which are stuck to the floor.

You're Hershey's, you're Snickers,
You're sweet English Toffee.
If you spit in my cup,
You'll just sweeten my coffee.

I love you so much
That I'm getting frenetic,
But I can't even kiss you,
cause I'm diabetic.

@Clare P @FaithPlusNothing @Free2Think @PeacebewithYou! @
MY MUSING MOM.

I visit her twice a year.
She can't speak ... seems not to see,
Yet she gives me sage advice
(I'm not sure how).

But, on the long drive home
(Two thousand miles of prairie and
desert),
I have time to think:
The gloss of life flows easily aside,
And I am left with whatever wisdom I
hold inside.

Under the influence of her eternal
Encouragement
I will rise:
My next bet will win;
My next dodge will be wise;
And lines that have churned inside
Will "Rise and Shine" ...
An event waiting for this time.

It's a skill akin to Godliness:
Being able to reach inside
We mounds of clay
And bring to light
What we might say.

I lost track : are you the lady in Carolina. Or was that Faithplusnothing?
I'm old and absentminded, but embarrassed at losing track

2021-01-04 05:49:31 UTC

I'm the one from Carolina, Lloyd.. I dont know where Faith+0 from. You're perfectly fine! You're sharper than me that's for sure.

2021-01-04 05:52:21 UTC

You're plenty sharp.
I was just didn't want to unintentionally spread any comments about my beloved Confederate States of America in the presence of anyone who might be offended. (HA

2021-01-04 05:59:18 UTC

Thank you Lloyd, that means a lot coming from you. My English is not really that good so forgive me when I dont get it here and there. About the Confederate states, not at all. I'm very naive when it comes to American History but really enjoy listening about war stories and how life was back in the days. I did asked someone about that Confederate flag because what I've heard from the left most of the time was what it represent and I couldn't figured out why people carry it proudly.

2021-01-04 06:09:55 UTC

That was their battle flag. Many tens of thousands died or were wounded following it
It wasn't actually a "Civil War, " it was a war between two separate countries. More than 95% of Southerners followed "The Stars and Bars," and at least 85% of Northerners followed the stars and stripes -- that's not a "civil war." Much of the antagonism came from the majority in the North abusing the minority in the South. They taxed Southern plantation owners 20% on their sales of cotton, sugar and tobacco, the way that wealthy people typically abuse hardworking people. Most of the Federal government income came from the backs of slaves in the South

2021-01-04 06:12:10 UTC

Nearly all families in the South lost patriarchs inThe War of Succession

2021-01-04 06:25:40 UTC

I was afraid I'd put you to sleep )ha

2021-01-04 06:27:22 UTC

Mmm wow that shed a whole new light to my very simple understanding. I always thought that the south wanted to keep slavery therefore fought the north who wanted liberty for the slaves. Now I know people who carry those flags today dont really wants slavery so when I hear of white supremacy and all that I'm confused.
