Not new age neo liberal dems tho they’re lost
If the GOP wants to have any relevancy in the next 3 decades, they need to become a party standing for something real and tangible, as opposed to an economic platform that benefits nobody.
Whether thats something truly right wing, or something more aligned with a populist economic policy as @Kingfish proposes, I don't really care.
They just have to do something different.
Oh for sure
I think Tucker is incredibly promising
He has shown time and time again he puts the people of this country before the economic interests of big business and corporate influence
This free market absolutism/socially liberal stance appeals to nobody.
Exactly
There was some chart about this,
I think being pragmatic and utilizing all we can to gain power and influence will be the best bet going forward
I’m willing to sacrifice a few idealist beliefs for victory
how 2016 voters fell by enconomic/social issues in the traditional pollical spectrum - nearly nobody who voted for the GOP believes in their platform.
maybe @Nemets knows the chart I am referring to.
@Kingfish But BRO - you're not a TRVE XYZ if you compromise one inch!
Rather lose with dignity than win with 85% of what I want
will I be burned in the ethnostate by the council of fashy goys?
Implying you'll make it past the gate.
“Bro when we WIN”
oh man
I thought about that guy last night.
Let's take this to DMs if we're going to get any more personal
My man!
literally the chart I had in mind
the only people who care who freee muuurkets are College Republicans
Went looking for this same chart and the article with it was claiming "Libertarians exist, and in droves" when it says the opposite lol
The vast majority of people just want a better life for themselves and their families and don't really give a shit about abstract principles
People like us who sit around and read political theory are very rare
not sure about that - most people in USA love "American" values like tolerance, democracy, and diversity
People like us just have to direct the angry masses when everything goes south
>coming up with long thought out arguments
>Calling your enemy gay
Why not both
Most people say they love things like tolerance and diversity because they're conditioned to do so. It's not that they disagree per se, but people mostly self segregate though they'd never admit it
Mass media is a hell of a drug
Monied interests have been campaigning in a very organized manner to subvert education and mass media since 1900
this gal is the platonic ideal of an udmurt
They wear tinfoil?
@Nemets I genuinely don't believe that the average white person really gives a shit about "diversity" or "tolerance"
There's a very small amount of true believers who will do things like intentionally finding diverse schools for their kids
